In this seven-day intensive breathwork retreat, we will give you the opportunity in a safe space to face your emotions and feelings which you may be have avoided your whole life. And we will teach you how to let them go in love and to reconnect with your real power. You will take back 100% responsibility for your own life and meet your true self. The first step to a happy and self-determined life. 

Daily we will practice breathwork, yoga, mantras, and affirmations to deepen the healing process in ourselves.
Massages, healthy tasty food, and an amazingly supportive group will help you to let go even more. Your breath will be your guide through this journey!

Discover yourself in the miraculous south of Sri Lanka. This Island is a magic place with beautiful green nature to find inner peace, to strengthen your body with yoga and to clear your mind & body with Breathwork. Sri Lanka is the home of Ayurveda one of the oldest healing systems, which believes wellness depends on a balance between mind, body & spirit. This balance we will build up during the week and give you space which you need to. We will nourish you with healthy vegan plant-based food, all grown locally and if you like get ayurvedic treatments.

*Breathwork can be described as a portal and door to our internal and external worlds. In only one session you can give space, expansion and opportunity for shifts, movement, insights, change, and the chance to come back to our bodies that hold us so dearly and work non-stop so that we may exist here and now.

I went to the breathing workshop with Alex and martina. I have never done this before, only bits of yoga, so had no expectations. I really can't describe how profound I found the class. I reconnected with myself in ways I never thought possible from 'just breathing'. Martina and Alex made me feel really safe and the class itself was an open space where anything was accepted. When I had moments of being very emotional they were both extremely caring and supportive just by placing they hands on my head. I can't thank Alex and Martina enough for the huge breakthroughs I had and processing my mother's near death experience the year before. I have spoken to therapists but this by far has helped me more than anything else. Thank you thank you thank you xxxxx I really hope to come back again xxx you're wonderful people

Venue Highlights

At the large yoga shala on our rooftop with ocean view, we offer different yoga classes each day. These yoga classes are daily at sunrise and sunset. During the retreat you will get amazing local plant based food.

Schedule

7.00 am Wake up Yoga
1hr Hatha/Vinyasa Yoga based on the charka/element theme specific to that day

8.00 am Tea break

9.00 am Group Breathwork session*
2hr concession connected breathing based on the charka theme specific to that day.

11.00 am vegan/plant-based Brunch

12.00 pm free time/Talks/Massages/ Treatments
During the afternoon, you will get ayurvedic Massages or Treatments, have guided group talks, can relax on the beach or take a surf class, discover the south of Sri Lanka or just relax and read a book.

5.30 – 7.00 pm Yin Yoga or Restorative Yoga
1,5hr based on the charka/element theme specific to that day with a long deep relaxation in the end.

7.30 – 8.30 pm vegan/plant-based Dinner

Menu/Cuisine

At our vegan cafe we serve you for breakfast and dinner healthy and delicious vegan food.
We’ve made every effort to create an organic, vegan, gluten free, sugar-free menu,
using only locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. This is how we eat in the ayurvedic way.

Accommodations

Our five simple but with attention to detail furnished double/twin rooms have a private bathroom with toilet, air conditioning, fan and provide a fantastic sea view. You can book private rooms or share an twin room with someone else.

Directions

Its $60 for a car from the airport to us. If you have more time you can take the bus or train from colombo.

This sounds like a dream! I am an education student and I have spent way too much time working all summer to pay for school. My boyfriend of 5 years is a government firefighter and has been away working most of the summer. His 30th Birthday and our 6th anniversary is coming up this winter, we would love to celebrate with a yoga retreat! We both love yoga but have barley had time to practice in the past few months.
