Personalized sessions with Vishva-ji are a catalyst to heal every layer of your being. Experience a direct transmission of ancient yogic wisdom as you receive an individually tailored practice to explore the areas of yoga that inspire or intrigue you. During these sessions, Vishva-ji offers you his complete presence and energy to support you in awakening to your blissful, playful, and fearless nature.

One-on One Yoga and Lifestyle Sessions:

A private or semi-private yoga session may include in-depth work with asana, pranayama, mantra and meditation in which you develop tailored sequences and specialized yoga tools to take home with you. It may also include lifestyle tips and motivational strategies to help you bring yoga more deeply into your life in a transformative and sustainable way. Students have delved deeply into the subtlety of the pranas, bandhas and breath retention; kriyas and cleansing sat karma; as well as daily rituals, mantra and meditation.

Pranic Healing Sessions:

Vishva-ji has a profound way of working with energy and shifting blockages that will leave you refreshed and ready to approach challenges in a new way. Improve energy levels, boundary issues and overall wellness. Experience the full power of Pranic Healing and how it expands and settles your life force for a more grounded and ample field. (only available at the Ashram).

Vedic Ancestral Healing Sessions:

These sessions reach deep into the cellular level to heal ancestral blueprints that live on in us today. Through an ancient process, including include Vedic mantra, elemental offerings, energy work and visualization, Vishva-ji will work with you to help clear and re-shape family dynamics and old wounds so you can step with confidence into your future.

 

The sessions take place:

at the Ashram (March and early April) or

by Skype (year-round)

Your private session offers you the opportunity to receive Vishva-ji’s personal guidance and unwavering attention. Each session is an investment in your path to wholeness. In each appointment, Vishva-ji weaves his mastery of ancient yogic practices and decades of experience to support you in unlocking the potential of your true nature. All practices shared are comprehensive and holistic - each one artfully designed to support you in healing from the inside, out.

 

Single Session - $300

Package of Three* - $600

Accessibility is important to the Akhanda Yoga Family. If you’re unable to invest the full amount at this time but still feel called to work personally with Vishva-ji, reach out to us using the email listed below. We are more than willing to work with you to create an agreement that is supportive for everyone.

 

We highly recommend booking at least three sessions to get the maximum benefit and so that you have time to work together. After this you can book follow-up sessions or ongoing packages of three. But, we have the option of purchasing just one session to start if you want to try it out before committing to a package.

Venue Highlights

Visit us in Rishikesh – City of Yoga! Nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas, the north end of Rishikesh Village is a special place for Yoga and Meditation. Anand Prakash Yoga Ashram hosts the Akhanda Yoga Teacher Training programs with three to four YTT 200, one YTT 300 and several advanced 100-hour modules each year. The Ashram has ongoing self-styled retreats available all year when spots are available.

Accommodations

We have shared double occupancy rooms with two single beds, an attached bathroom and shelves and night tables for your convenience. All guests have access to two yoga classes a day, morning fire puja and evening kirtan 2 - 3 times a week. We also have bright common spaces, a garden, rooftop terrace and two sofa sitting rooms for your use.

Menu/Cuisine

Breakfast may be oatmeal, apple samosa or parantha with apple, banana, papaya and other seasonal fruits. Herbal tea is also served and there is the option of milk. Lunch and dinner consist of rice and/or chapatti, dal (moong, kidney beans, chick peas or pinto) and vegetable stew (pumpkin, cauliflower, carrot and pea, okra or mixed vegetables).

Directions

You can get to the Ashram most easily by flying into Dehradun Airport. The Ashram can arrange for a car to pick you up, or just take a taxi.

      My second home, a place to nourish myself

    I came 3 times at Anand Prakash Ashram and each time i could feel i just came back home. The energy of this place is amazing, the community of teachers, students and the ashram office is so supportive and welcoming. You can practice a daily routine from 5.20am with meditation, yoga, fire puja, until a delicioux breakfast. It is just the perfect way to start any day. Then i came back to experience the yoga teacher training, (200 hours and 300 hours) in 2017 and 2019. They are the most powerful experiences i have ever had. Yogrishi Vishvketu and the teachers team guide us into deep teachings of vedic wisdom, anatomy, technical asanas and pranayama... But for me this more than a training, this is a transformational experience that helps me to know more about my true nature, to bring more consciousness on my samskaras, to heal my mind and release my body, to share intense moment with people from all over the world and to be just surrounded by so much joy, so much love, so much support. I am so grateful to life that she brought me there, at the Anand Prakash Ashram and made me meet the one i now call Guruji. Thank so much to every person of the Akhanda Family !

      Beautiful prenatal YTT100

    One of the best course i’v ever done. Teachers who know what they are talking about and teach from their heart. Loving, accepting and nurturing athmosphere trough out the course. Time to integrate, time to rest, time to learn. Rest, digest, reproduce.

      Incredible Experience

    This retreat was the very best “vacation” I have ever had. Everything about is was perfect; beautiful and serene location, charming rooms, helpful staff and remarkable food all aligned for transformation! I have never felt so whole, welcome and accepted. Vishva’s presence is so powerful; he left me feeling inspired, empowered and motivated to be my optimal self, every moment. His intention landed, the simple instructions he gave have changed my life; still glowing two weeks later. I did not know it was possible to love yoga more, after this retreat I am more determined to practice, share and honour this ancient and sacred medicine. Grateful for the experience and for my Guru.       Sanctum Retreat Alberta

    Another amazing year!! As Yoga is a practice so are yoga retreats. I feel like I am getting better and better at understanding what I need to get out of this retreat and how to do that. Prior to the retreat I was suffering a malaise I couldn't shake, simple tasks were difficult and, at the pace I was going, true contentedness seemed achievable only through the course of many lives. Post the retreat my battery feels charged and most things in my daily life as a common "householder" feel quite effortless. I walked down a street on the Monday after the retreat that I always walk after work. I was simply amazed by the amount of things I was observing, smelling and feeling, my senses were uniquely alive and my head was, for once, quiet. I was seeing everything, observing the world, I felt like a part of it. I saw every bike on every balcony of the apartment buildings. I noticed beautiful painting jobs on houses that I have never noticed before and I gave and received as many smiles as I have in the past 11 months combined. I was resting in my true nature!! It was really nice. I eagerly look forward to next years retreat and will earnestly continue on with the progress I made this year. Namaste!
