The Relational Factors of Awakening: Cultivating Kindness and Friendship, Compassion, Appreciative Joy and Equanimity
Insight Dialogue is a fully engaged relational meditation practice that brings together meditative awareness, the wisdom teachings of the Buddha, and the power of relationship to support insight into the nature, cause, and release of human suffering.
In these Fall meetings, we will introduce the meditation guidelines of Insight Dialogue and investigate and cultivate the qualities of heart – kindness, compassion, appreciative joy and relational equanimity- which underlie our human potential for awakening together.
There will be periods of silent meditation practice, ID practice, and mindful movement with Annie Hoffman. Jan Surrey, Insight Dialogue teacher, and other experienced ID practitioners will offer talks and guided practice. All teaching is offered on a Dana basis.
All are welcome to come to any or all sessions. Prior meditation experience suggested. No registration necessary.
