Explore, Renew + Inspire: New Year’s in Thailand!

About us

Join Danielle Saturday, December 29, 2018 – Saturday, January 5, 2019 for a unique yoga experience over New Year’s in Thailand. Spend 8 days and 7 nights at Mala Dhara, an incredible yoga retreat center outside of Chiang Mai, surrounded by rice paddies and mist covered mountains. Reflect on the past year and build strength for 2019 with our twice daily yoga practices. Renew through our self care offerings, including a Thai massage, herbal sauna night, visit to a nearby hot springs, and time to relax and unwind at Mala Dhara’s salt water pool. Explore and experience the culture of Chiang Mai with a temple tour in the city, visit an elephant sanctuary, hike in Doi Saket, and participate in a Thai cooking class at a local organic farm. Menu/Cuisine

Most of our meals will be at Kin Dee – Mala Dhara’s incredible, vegetarian restaurant. The menu changes with the seasons, the harvests and the creative juices flowing through the kitchen. They don’t just accommodate vegetarian and vegan guests with options or alternatives – they prepare vegetarian meals that stand on their own jump off the plate, vie for your attention and delight your senses! There is so much to love about Thailand – especially the food!

Accommodations

Each villa is unique and exquisitely decorated. They have their own bathrooms, AC and fan, and refrigerator. Rooms are outfitted with either a queen size bed or two twins.

Directions

Round trip ground transportation will be provided from Chiang Mai International Airport. International flights are often cheaper in and out of Bangkok. You can book a short, cheap from from BKK to Chiang Mai.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

To drop deep into the practices and connect with my true nature... Alison
