300 hour Vinyasa Flow Training Program

About us

We believe that the eagerness to continue learning is the keystone of being a great yoga teacher. The desire to be a lifelong student of this practice allows you endless opportunities to advance your knowledge of yoga; for both your own self growth and for the benefit of your students.

The nature of this course is designed to expand upon the foundation of your 200-hour certification. We will continue to explore all aspects of yoga, from the gross to the subtle, as you gain valuable, experiential information for optimum growth and transformation as a yoga teacher and individual. We will encourage a deeper understanding of how the tools and techniques of yoga can be applied both on and off the mat.

Schedule

We will be together 6 days a week, 10 + hours per day with each day following a similar schedule. Mediation will be offered in the mornings before breakfast. We start at 9 am with yoga sutras, and then have one practice-based session and one information-based session before lunch. Lunch is an hour, and then there is one practice-based session, one information-based session, and one experiential session in the afternoon. Students of this program will be required to teach the 5:o0 pm classes open to the public for the duration of the month.

Like the 200 hour program, there will be a large emphasis on the Yoga Sutra by Pantajali. Students will be required to complete an online anatomy course, as well as create a workshop of their choice to teach during the month. Seva and karma yoga will be practiced each Sunday.

Accommodations

Included in the price is a shared room with another student in the program. All rooms have private bathrooms, hot water, wifi and hammocks on the shared balconies. Daily room cleaning is included. All linens, including bath and beach towels are provided.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

Reconnecting with myself after a very crazy few months with a new baby! Just having that feeling of being grounded again. But also having an opportunity to connect with new amazing people. Getting exposed and Inspired by new (to me) yoga instructors (and community). Being in the presence of real, authentic and raw emotion (the whole spectrum).. So many reasons! Alyson

Retreat Guru's Vision

We believe human beings are innately wise, strong and kind. This wisdom, although not always experienced, is always present. Going on retreat is a beautiful way to reconnect to our basic sanity and health. Our aspiration at Retreat Guru is to inspire people to experience authentic retreats and reconnect with their innate wisdom, strength and kindness.
