Animals & Art

About us

Are you a budding photographer or artist? Do you want to be?

Forget bowls of fruit! Come out to the animal sanctuary to learn the art of photography and painting in a relaxed environment. Capture the quirky personalities of these rescues with your camera or use the beautiful grounds and buildings as your subject. Either way, our talented and patient instructors will provide all of the essentials you need to unlock your artistic potential.

This retreat begins with the photography lessons on Friday afternoon through Saturday mid-day. Saturday afternoon, you will choose your favorite photo to recreate in the painting lesson which runs through Sunday morning. All weekend long, enjoy the magic and peace of this beautiful setting and its inspiring residents.

Our aspiration at Retreat Guru is to inspire people to experience authentic retreats and reconnect with their innate wisdom, strength and kindness.
