Introduction to the Vipassana insight dialogue with Bhante Sukhacitto

About This Event

The power and challenge of meditating together: insight dialogue is an interpersonal meditation practice based on Vipassana. Through dialogue, the mindfulness and serenity of the traditional silent meditation practice is brought into interaction with others. This allows us to overlook, perceive, and understand things we normally do in the bustle of our lives, and to gain more acceptance for ourselves and others.

As humans, we are beings that are related to each other. As we awaken to this experience, insight, clarity, ease, and joy flow into our relationship with others. In this retreat, we meditate together – not next to each other – in complete communication and truly meditative.

We will cultivate mindfulness, calm concentration, the searching mind, energy and other meditative qualities. This happens in the alternation of a guided insight dialogue, quiet meditation and exchange. Outside the dialogues, the course takes place in the noble silence.

It is an opportunity to connect directly with the relationship level of our humanity. These exercises also help us in difficult situations to stay present and opposite, to deal more easily with social tensions and anxiety, and to be aware of the habits that have been run away. In the insight dialog we come into direct personal contact with central human experiences. In the exercise, we are gradually acquainted with the meditation instructions of the insight dialogue and guided in contemplation. Silence and dialogue complement each other alternately. Dhamma reflections and time for questions and answers and exchanges are planned. More about the insight dialogue at (contact info blocked).
