Caribe Culture Tour

About This Event

This is the retreat for you when you want to experience it all! We don't think you should have to choose between yoga, relaxation, nature, and adventure. So, we're offering a retreat that includes it all.

You can wake up every morning and enjoy a yoga class surrounded by nature. In the afternoon, our tours include visiting a local indigenous tribe to learn how they live, and make chocolate! Afterward, you'll relax and swim at a waterfall. You'll do a guided tour through the Cahuita National Park to see amazing plants and animals in their natural habitat. You can choose between snorkeling Costa Rica's largest coral reef, or doing a kayaking adventure through ocean and river! You'll eat authentic Caribbean food unique to the area. You'll visit the Jaguar Rescue Center, an amazing place dedicated to the healing and rehabilitation of all of Costa Rica's fascinating wildlife. We'll take a day trip to Puerto Viejo, where you can shop, enjoy a cocktail on the beach, and explore the town. And don't worry, you'll still have plenty of opportunities to relax by the pool or at the beach, or schedule an Ayurvedic massage at the spa!

Included in the retreat is your room for 8 days and 7 nights, 3 meals per day, daily yoga, 5 excursions, and transportation to and from the airport in San Jose.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

It would my first vacation in the mountains. I think getting away and beginning a new routine would be good for me and a friend. Dianne

Retreat Guru's Vision

Going on retreat is a beautiful way to reconnect to our basic sanity and health. Our aspiration at Retreat Guru is to inspire people to experience authentic retreats and reconnect with their innate wisdom, strength and kindness.
