Take Your Practice Outside the Classroom with Sheila Bunnell

About us

This week-long intensive will give us plenty of time to explore our asana practice and connect this practice with yogic philosophy and how to bring this out into our daily lives.

We will use the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali as our guide to help us to understand the many layers of our being and how the practice of Asana and the understanding of the Philosophy can help bring about a calmer and more confident mental state in our day to day lives.

This workshop is all levels, Sheila will teach a variety of poses as well as inversions; everyone will be taught at their level.

Sheila Bunnell started her Yoga journey in the Iyengar Yoga system over two decades ago.

From the very beginning, she was fascinated by how this system of yoga could lead to a calm, clear state, both mentally and physically. Her goal as a teacher is to give this experience to others.

Sheila began her studies with Joan White of the BKS Iyengar Yoga School of Central Philadelphia. She has been teaching for over fifteen years, she continues her studies with Joan White, as well as traveling to India to train with the Iyengar family. Sheila is certified as Junior Intermediate Level I by the Iyengar Yoga Association of the United States.
