The Sanctuary Escape Yoga and Meditation Retreat is your chance to dedicate time solely to yourself while discovering the island of Bali and getting to know its beautiful and unique culture.
Together we will spend 5 days at the Plataran Canggu Bali Resort & Spa, a tropical oasis surrounded by lush gardens. The Plataran is a traditional Balinese resort with the architecture of Indonesia’s heritage. From carved doorways to traditional wooden roofs - the Plataran is the perfect setting to experience authentic Balinese culture while finding a place of serenity and privacy.
This hideaway is located in the south-western part of Bali, only 10-15 minutes away from the hip beach areas of Batu Bolong and Echo Beach. Known mostly for surfing and amazing sunsets, these areas are filled with popular dining and shopping destinations, which you will have the chance to experience in your free time.
Additionally to daily yoga and meditation classes, we will have a Sound Healing ceremony and a Chakra Balancing workshop to dive deeper into a journey of self-care. Other activities that are offered by the Plataran complimentary are Cycling, traditional Jamu Making, where you will learn how to craft a traditional herbal medicine made from natural ingredients, and a traditional Balinese dance lesson. We will also assist you to organize any other trips you would like to take such as visiting Bali’s most famous temple Tanah Lot or venturing to the rice paddies for sunrise. We want to give you an experience beyond the usual to create an unforgettable experience on the Island of Gods.
Our retreat program is designed for you to enjoy your retreat to the fullest and not only spend the time to connect with yourself, but also with this beautiful island. All of the activities are optional and you may participate whenever it is suitable for you. We want to give you as well the chance to explore the island on your own for breathtaking culinary and cultural experiences.

The One-Bedroom Villa with Private Pool is a beautiful traditional Balinese villa that is nestled within the privacy of serene lush gardens and offers a spacious and peaceful hideaway. There is an outdoor terrace with daybeds just steps away from the pool and it is perfect to find some relaxation. You can choose to share the villa with another retreat guest or book it for yourself.

Venue HighlightsYou will stay together with all retreat guests at a traditional Balinese resort located in Canggu, Bali. The property is surrounded by lush tropical gardens and enables you to explore ultimate serenity and peace. The property has two outdoor pools, free bicycle rentals, a yoga shala, a beautiful wooden deck for relaxing and practices, a spa and many more to offer.

A transfer will pick you up from the airport. You will arrive at the Plataran Canggu Bali Resort and Spa and in the afternoon, we will have our first get-together and yoga class. As a welcome, we will have a Balinese blessing ceremony, where we will be dressed in traditional clothing, followed by a welcome dinner.
Days 2, 3 and 4
These days are filled with healthy breakfasts, yoga and meditation classes, a sound healing ceremony, yoga Nidra, pranayama, chakra balancing, and more. Additionally, you will have the chance to participate in a Balinese dance lesson and Jammu making to get to know the Balinese culture. You will have free time to explore the island and surroundings on your own as well. On our last night, we will have a farewell dinner together.
After a morning yoga class and breakfast, we will say goodbye to each other and check-out will be at noon time. A transfer back to the airport is complimentary.
