Enchantment By the Sea - A Retreat to Re-enchant Your Life

About us

An Enchanted Turn of the Kaleidoscope

Why not leave the disenchanted world behind?  Rediscover the magic around you and within you.

Journey up the breathtaking Marin coast to enter a special world of imagination, stories, and wild Nature.    Where Earth and Water meet, enchantment lives and magical experiences happen.  Every animal and blade of grass has a story to tell that can enlighten your life.  The voices of the wild whisper ancient wisdom.   The blue expanse of the Pacific brings insight from its circling journey around the world, as it passes just under your retreat window to new destinations.  Here, time stands still as the magic around you and within you reconnects, pulling you toward what matters.

Created by women for women, this retreat in the wild heart of Marin can shift how you see the world.

Through themed experiences, discussions, and stories, we'll enter into conversation with the heart and imagination where we find value, love, and union with the world around us.  Enchantment by the Sea is an enchanted turn of the kaleidoscope from where you are now.

"The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in seeing with new eyes." Marcel Proust "An enchanted world is one that speaks to the soul, to the mysterious depths of the heart and imagination where we find value, love, and union with the world around us."

What are the accommodations?

This rustic retreat is located at the Point Reyes Lifeboat Station, a National Historic Landmark overlooking beautiful Drake's Bay. It is the last remaining example of a rail-launched lifeboat station that was common on the Pacific coast. Located at Chimney Rock, the Lifeboat Station was built in 1927 by the U.S. Coast Guard and contains the crew’s quarters, a large boat bay, and a marine railway system for launching a 36-foot life boat.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

To be more present and engaged in the world, to be of benefit to others. Vincent
