Advait Yog is dedicated to spreading the spiritual message of yoga which is an ancient Indian spiritual science. At this retreat, we offer you neat, clean accommodation which is also state of the art and lies in the lap of the scenic beauty of Rishikesh.

The retreat will start from 1st of December 2018 until the 11th of December 2018. What's more, this retreat is certified. 

Diya Vandana Sarma and Kaushalendra Singh have come together in order to host this retreat. Both are Ph.D. research Scholars in Advaita Vedanta and Buddhism respectively.

Diya has been a practitioner of yoga for over 7 years and Kaushalendra has been a practitioner of Buddhist Chantings. They welcome all to join them in their journey to make this world be a better place for all to live and love. 

Yoga is an ancient Indian traditional practice that aims at the unification of individual self with the supreme self. It is an amalgamation of asanas, lifestyle changes, food and scientific techniques that lead to mental, emotional, physical and spiritual wellness.

  • Start the 10-day yoga retreat by arriving at Rishikesh, near the Laxman Jhula area.
  • Upon arrival, the guests are welcomed in traditional Vedic style with Aarti and Teeka.
  • At 12:00 noon, the travelers check in and proceed for lunch at around 1:00 pm.
  • Rest for sometime before the induction meeting at 3:00 pm.
  • Later, proceed for snacks at 4:30 pm.
  • 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm: Yoga mats are distributed to all guests.
  • 7:00 pm -7:30 pm: Enjoy a Vedic style dinner.
  • 8:30 pm: Retire to bed.

DAY 02

  • Following the ancient Indian Yogic way of life, wake up early in the morning at 4:30 am.
  • 5:00 am: Proceed towards the ‘Havan’ room and participate in a prayer session for the well-being of the entire universe, all humans, animals, trees and all that lies beyond.
  • 5:45 am: Eat 5 soaked almonds before starting the yoga and pranayama session.
  • 5:45 am -6:15 am: Take a stroll around the complex and enjoy the pristine nature.
  • 6:30 am -8:30 am: Chanting, Pranayama, Meditation, Yoga session.
  • 9:00 am -10:00 am: Enjoy breakfast and spend some alone time before the next session.
  • 10:30 am -1:00 pm: Go for a session on Indian Philosophy.
  • 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm: Lunch is served after the discourse on philosophy.
  • 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm: Rest in the room before the evening sessions begin.
  • 4:30 pm - 5:00 pm: Enjoy an Ayurvedic Detox drink and prepare for the evening session.

DAY 08
4:30 am: Wake-up call.
5:00 am: Gather at the Havan Kunda for Universal prayer (Prakriti Yagya).
5:45 am: Eat 5 soaked almonds before starting the yoga and pranayama session.
5:45 am -6:15 am: Leisure time with nature.
6:30 am -8:30 am: Chanting, Pranayama, Meditation, Yoga.
9:00 am -10:00 am: Breakfast.
10:30 am -1:00pm: Session on Saivism.
1:00 pm - 2:00 pm: After a session on Saivism, enjoy hot and delicious lunch.
2:00 pm -4:00 pm: Rest and relaxation.
4:30 pm: Ayurvedic Detox drink is provided.
5:00 pm – 6:00 pm: Gather for a discussion on Saivism and other spiritual quests.
7:00 pm -7:30 pm: Dinner.
8:00 pm - 9:00 Yog Nidra and Meditation (Regression Therapy).

DAY 09
4:30 am: Wake-up call.
5:00 am: Gather at the Havan Kunda for Universal prayer (Prakriti Yagya).
5:45 am: Eat 5 soaked almonds before starting the yoga and pranayama session.
5:45 am -6:15 am: Leisure time with nature.
6:30 am -8:30 am: Chanting, Pranayama, Meditation, Yoga.
8:30 am -9:00 am: Breakfast.
9:30 am -1:00 pm: Go for an outdoor excursion and explore the beauties of Rishikesh. Visit the following places:
Waterfall
Neelkanth Mahadev Temple
Swami Dayanand Ashram
1:00 pm -2:00 pm: Enjoy lunch near the river bank.
After lunch, visit the Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, and Parmarth Niketan Ashram. In the evening, go for Ganga Aarti.
7:30 pm – 8:30 pm: Enjoy dinner after a long day.
9:00 pm -10:00 pm: Return to the Ashram.
10:00 pm -10:30 pm: Yog Nidra and Meditation session.

DAY 10
4:30 am: Wake-up call.
5:00 am: Gather at the Havan Kunda for Universal prayer (Prakriti Yagya).

5:45 am -6:15 am: Leisure time with nature.

4:30 pm: Ayurvedic Detox drink is offered in the evening.
5:00 pm – 6:00 pm: Photographs and Certificate distribution time.

DAY 11
8:00 am -9:00 am: Enjoy breakfast before the final departure.
12:00 noon: Final check-out.
