About us

Who are you?  Why are you here and what is your place in the universe?  Feeling any pressure, sorrow, stress, or imbalances these days?  Need a reset, new direction, a big shift? Do you need practical tools for challenging times?

This annual weekend at Song of the Morning Yoga Retreat Center centers on a practical approach to the science behind spirituality.  This year we’re happy to have Ericka Tithof back to lead our hatha yoga sessions, and share her heart of service.

Come join us for a dynamic, focused flow to move energy, clarify, balance, and ground.  Through a series of proven, scientific techniques drawing from spiritual traditions across the planet, we will explore our inner world together, and dissolve the illusory barrier between the outer world.  Based on primal principles found in nature, exemplified in the permaculture movement, the way to return to a simpler way of life will be shown.

This weekend we will walk away from that which stands in our way and into that which is available, lighter, greater, and real.  Through the basic and simple practices of chi kung, mindfulness, meditation, yoga, pranayama, among others, it can be surprising how much can shift in such a short time.

Together we will breathe, process, and let go while finding our own way of celebrating the small things together.  We’ll create a space to share, to feel, to listen, and let go of 2018 in order to prepare for 2019.

This weekend is designed to be accessible to those on various levels in personal practice and path.  You will have the support and guidance to refine and reset your practice, as needed, wherever you are at.  If one is sincere in willingness to change, then there is vast opportunity for growth. All who are called to experience broader freedom and expansiveness, healing and wholeness are encouraged to consider joining.

If you have never done a spiritual retreat before, this is a one-of-a-kind experience to open a new world of possibilities.  Please feel welcomed and courageous in taking forward in your faith walk.

A more detailed agenda with many detailed specifics is available for sincere inquiries.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

After having just completed my RYT 200 I have been inspired to further my yoga journey and my own personal journey inward. I have fallen in love with yoga and how it has changed my life and I just want to continue to explore so I can share this beautiful gift with as many as possible. Jessica
