About us

Yoga Recovery:  a mind, body, spirit journey to wellness is an incredible learning retreat.  Together we will explore ways our asana and meditative practices can help us create a deeper understanding of ourselves, cultivate  great compassion and self-love which ultimately is the foundation for the awareness of the Divine within.  It is with these strengthened awarenesses that we are able to radiate outward and truly live out namaste, "our light will honour the light in others."

Today, people 18-30 are saying they are lonelier than ever before, despite our facebook and instagram followers.  We are seeking connection and when we cannot bond with others, we will bond with anything that gives us relief and a sense of connection.  That something can be substances, alcohol, sex, gambling, shopping, social media, pornography, gaming, eating (not eating), you name it!  It is so important that we start with ourselves and truly connect.

Yoga, meditation, physical activity and nature are key to this.  Join me for an incredible week of learning, sharing, adventure, connection and love!  This is a 100 hour Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Credit Course, but you don't need to be an instructor to attend ~ there is something for everyone!  God Bless and namaste.

Wonder upon wonder all becomes true the whole universe dancing through you

Venue Highlights

TeTierra de Sueños is an ecotourism paradise
located in the beach community of Playa Chiquita, 6 kilometers south of Puerto Viejo, on the southern Caribbean coast of Costa Rica.

Playa Chiquita is an international neighborhood that celebrates ecotourism, nature and diversity. Some of our neighbors include several delicious restaurants, the Yoga center next door, two specialty grocers, a holistic guidance center and a massage specialist.

Our bungalows are just a five minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches on the coast of Costa Rica. After walking down a nature trail across the road, you will find the unspoiled Playa Chiquita with reefs for snorkeling, palm tree covers for shady lounging and, depending on the time of year, either waves for surfing or the calmest waters for swimming.

Playa Chiquita, Costa Rica is the best of both worlds because it is so easy to be a part of the lively Puerto Viejo scene yet far enough away to enjoy a peaceful ecotourism sanctuary where often the only sounds you’ll hear are those of the jungle.st, test

Accommodations

testEcotourism Facilities
We have 7 gorgeous hardwood ecotourism minded Costa Rican bungalows that are set into the lush nature scape of our property.

Each ecotourist-minded bungalow has a different theme expressed in the hand carved wood, tile mosaics, painted murals, and artistic details. Enjoy hot showers and cool breezes from the overhead fan and large screened windows. Bungalows are constructed in tradition fashion with zinc roofs, open-air screens, wooden walls, and floors.

While staying in one of our bungalows you can be close to nature, sleeping to the sounds of the jungle and relaxing in the hammock on your front porch. Observe heliconias, gingers, sloths, humming birds, toucans and much more. It’s truly a jungle experience! test
