About us

A Daylong Meditation Retreat to Prepare Mentally, Emotionally, and Spiritually for 2019

Join us to prepare for 2019 in this special “Dharma December” Daylong Meditation Retreat!

Orgyen Chowang Rinpoche will be leading this daylong retreat as part of our yearly “Dharma December” events to help us understand how to live with less stress, improve our relationships, and enjoy life more fully through meditation. In this daylong retreat, Rinpoche will provide teachings and guided meditations to help us bring the previous year to a close and prepare to meet all the experiences, challenges, and opportunities of the coming year from the perspective of a practical meditation practice. Join us for a wonderful opportunity to deepen your meditation and prepare for a mentally, emotionally, and spiritually fulfilling 2019 within a supportive community.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

My inspiration sparks from my innate charge to connect with a collective innate goodness. I aspire to live in a way that continuously blossoms and embraces my wise and compassionate human nature. Freundl

Retreat Guru's Vision

We believe human beings are innately wise, strong and kind. This wisdom, although not always experienced, is always present. Going on retreat is a beautiful way to reconnect to our basic sanity and health. Our aspiration at Retreat Guru is to inspire people to experience authentic retreats and reconnect with their innate wisdom, strength and kindness.
