Tasting Relaxation Retreat: Week-long Kum Nye Yoga Retreat (sold out)
- Nyingma Institute
- Berkeley, CA, USA
- Dec 27, 2018 - Jan 1, 2019 (6 days)
Tibetan Yoga (Kum Nye) practice opens the senses to feeling. This flow of feeling can loosen even chronic tension. In this retreat we learn to relax so deeply that we can “taste” the healing nectar of relaxation as it flows through body and mind. Gentle movement, breathing, and awareness practices help us to discover this relaxation.
Instructors: Santosh Philip as primary instructor, with Donna Morton. Retreat begins Thursday at 10 AM and concludes on Tuesday at 4:45 PM. Includes the “Renewing and Refreshing the Senses” workshop on December 29. Suitable for all levels of students.
Cost: $475 (nonresidential, includes instruction and lunch); $965 (residential, includes 5 night stay, lunch, dinner, and self-serve breakfast).
Please call to register for the residential option, so that we can book a room for you. At this time, online registration is available for nonresidential participation only.
The Nyingma Institute, founded in 1972, is one of the oldest Tibetan Buddhist centers of learning in the U.S.
The grace, flow, deep awareness, and gentleness involved in Kum Nye really caught me off guard . . . I was surprised to discover such an elegant, powerful, and transformative practice. Brian W.
