Prenatal Yoga Workshop
This prenatal yoga workshop, “Mindful MOMents” will teach you how to safely guide pregnant students through a meditative and prenatal flow yoga class. This course is a fun, interactive class that will allow pregnant women to be in tune with their mind and bodies. Learn to empower expecting mothers while connecting them with their growing baby. You will learn the importance of the overall well-being of the pregnant woman, mentally and physically.
You will learn how to create class using safe practice techniques, checking in with the pregnant woman, and partner poses, which will allow the mother an extra sense of support and connectivity.
The program includes yoga practice, lecture, practice teaching, class observations and independent study. Participants will receive a training manual and certificate of completion. This training qualifies as continuing education if you are registered with Yoga Alliance and provides 18 hours of Yoga Alliance CEUs.
