About This Event

This seven day, six night retreat will be a quest to pursue wholeness through immersion into the ancient wisdoms of yoga, Thai massage and Chinese Medicine. Exploring and combining these modalities will guide us toward a deeper connection with oneself and nature. Daily acroyoga practice will awaken our playful nature, and foster effective communication and trust with others. Together we will hike through the mountains, swim in fresh waters, gather around the fire and reflect on the power of the natural world. It will be a practice in joy & inspiration, grounding & connection, healing & renewal, gratitude & compassion. We will celebrate the full moon and explore the Fire Element which is associated with the Summer season in Chinese Medicine. This is an abundant time of the year to embrace self-love and allow ourselves the expansiveness that we see happening around us as Nature’s energy blossoms and flourishes.

The first Maha Retreat was by far one of the most transformative weeks of my life. I got to be in my body with yoga and massage and acupuncture and allow myself to open up to the power of each moment in such distinct ways. It was awakening and magical; it was a space I would say we all need to exist! - Cythera

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

To find peace and renewal while going through a huge change in my life. Empty nest and the end of a 27 year marriage all at once. Susan
