Welcome Heart Centered Friend,

this transformational program is very detailed and might seem overwhelming. We encourage you to follow the program at your own pace. We recommend that you participate in the activities shown in red. The rest is optional. However, it gives you the chance to connect and bond with the rest of the group. We know you are here to relax, detox and enjoy yourself. We will not stress you following the schedule by the minute. This is your time to relax and we will do our best that you do so. The timetable is for your reference.

We are confident that this will be a memorable experience for you and you will return home feeling refreshed, relaxed and rejuvenated.



​SCHEDULE of OUR RETREAT



Day 1 - Friday

2:00 onward - Pick up from airport or port and transfer to Golden King Villas for check in.

19:00- Introduction Group Dinner at a local tavern. Group pick-up and drop-off to and from the tavern.

21:00 - Rest

07:00 - Mindful Yoga and Mindfulness Meditation (Body Scan)
(This will take place on the sandy beach of Mikros Vasilias. The beach is 20 meters from the resort).

8:00 – Mediterranean Breakfast

9:00 – Group discussion 101 on Mindful Eating and unhealthy habits. “Are you really hungry or is it emotional eating?”

10:00 – Break & Snack

10:30 - Group Heart Centered Healing Hypnotherapy/Suggestion Therapy – “Establishing Healthy Habits” - Session 1

12:00 - Lunch

13:00 - Siesta time for relaxation/enjoy a swim at the beach or the pool/explore the island. (The island offers appx 70 majestic beaches!).

17:00 – Social Time - Afternoon snack and herbal tea at the kiosk

18:30 – Sunset Meditation “Letting your thoughts rest as the sun sets”

19:00 – Dinner mindfully cooked by the group. “Let the fun begin!”

21:00 - Rest



​Day 3 Sunday

07:00 - Mindful Yoga and Sand Walking Meditation “Connecting with the Earth”
(This will take place on the sandy beach of Mikros Vasilias. The beach is 20 meters from the resort).

8:00 – Mediterranean Breakfast

9:00 – Group discussion 102 on Mindful Eating and unhealthy habits. “Establishing your hunger level”.

10:00 – Break & Snack

10:30 - Group Heart Centered Healing Hypnotherapy/Suggestion Therapy – Eliminating Addictions and Establishing a hunger level gauge” - Session 2

12:00 - Lunch

13:00 - Siesta time for relaxation/enjoy a swim at the beach or the pool/explore the island.

17:00 – Social Time - Afternoon snack and herbal tea at the kiosk

18:30 – Mindful Eating Meditation

19:00 – A delicious dinner cooked by the group.

21:00 – Rest



​Day 4 Monday

07:00 - Mindful Yoga
(This will take place on the the beach of Mikros Vasilias.

7:30 – Mediterranean Breakfast

9:00 – Pack your backpacks. Group pick-up for Excursion I. Today we will be going to Skiatho’s Kastro (Castle).

Things to pack.

Extra bathing suit if you want a dry one for later

Yoga mat

Sunscreen

Beach Umbrella (optional, this is a primitive beach, there are no umbrellas. There are some handmade leaf shades but it is not guaranteed that they will not be already occupied when we arrive.)

Whatever personal things you want with you. Keep your backpack light weight.

This excursion involves hiking so make sure you wear hiking shoes. Hiking sandals are fine as well.

9:30 – Walking/Hiking. We will follow an uphill path to the Kastro. Meditation “Mindful steps in our life”.

10:30 - Group discussion 103 on Mindful Eating and unhealthy habits. “Perfectionism and Procrastination” (This will take place at the Kastro’s old courtyard.). Snack

11:30 – We will stop at the Cliff for some quiet time and enjoy the majestic view.

12:00 – Walk downhill following the path to Kastro Beach for swimming and relaxation on the beach.

15:00 – Meal at the beach taverna enjoying the breathtaking view.

16:30 – Group Pick-up for our return to relax. It’s been an exciting day! Make sure you drink plenty of water.

19:30 – Group Heart Centered Healing Hypnotherapy/Suggestion Therapy – “Eliminating Perfectionism and Procrastination” - Session 3

20:00 Delicious light dinner mindfully cooked by the group accompanied by soothing tea

21:00 Rest





​Day 5 Tuesday



06:30 - Mindful Yoga - Swimming Meditation “Ripples in our Life”
(This will take place on the resorts garden and private pool. (Please have your bathing suit on).

8:00 – Mediterranean Breakfast

9:00 – Pack your backpacks. Group pick-up for excursion II. Today we will be visiting the monastery of Evaggelistria. We will be visiting the monastery’s museum. There is also a small shop at the monastery selling organic wine, organic honey, oil oil, olives, herbs and other organic products made the the monks. Make sure you have cash on you, if you wish to purchase something.

10:30 - Group discussion 104 on Mindful Eating and unhealthy habits. “Discovering my hidden shadows”. (This will take place at the Monastery’s courtyard. - Snack

11:30 – We will sit at the mountain for some quiet time. “Deepening the Silence”

12:00 Group pick-up. Drop of at a mountain top tavern for lunch with a peaceful and breathtaking view.

14:00 – Group pick up for our return to the resort for relaxation. Enjoy a swim at the pool at the resort’s beach or just take a nap to rest. Make sure you drink plenty of water.

17:00 – Social Time - Afternoon herbal tea and snack.

18:30 – Group Heart Centered Healing Hypnotherapy/Suggestion Therapy “Reframing Unwanted Shadow Behavior” - Session 4

19:00 Light Dinner mindfully cooked by the group accompanied by soothing tea

21:00 Rest





​Day 6 Wednesday

06:30 - Mindful Yoga – Sitting Meditation “Object as a Focal Point”
(This will take place on the beach Mikros Vasilias.

7:30 – Group pick up. Pack your backpacks. Excursion III. We are visiting Skiathos town and going on a boat trip today to the uninhabited island of Tsougkria.

You may want to purchase something from the local souvenir shops so make sure you have a little extra cash on you



A little hiking is involved today, hiking sandals are fine.

Transfer to Skiathos town. Tour walk through the town. We will be visiting the church St. Nikolaos which overlooks the town.

8:30 – Breakfast at the old port of Skiathos.

10:00 – Transfer by boat to Tsougkria island.



10:30 – We will follow the path to the chapel St. Floros.

11:00 – Silent Sea Meditation. “Staying focused on my goals in life”. This will take place at the chapels yard. You will enjoy this peaceful and breathtaking scenery to its fullest.

11:30 – We will follow a different path to one of the islands primitive beach.

12:00 - Group discussion 105 on Mindful Eating and unhealthy habits. “The Nourishment Barrier” (This will take place on the beach). - Snack

12:30 – Enjoy your relaxation time on the beach. The waters are crystal clear.

14:30 Meal at the island’s only kantina.

16:00 – Return

19:00 - A delicious light dinner cooked by the group accompanied by soothing tea

21:00 Rest



​Day 7 Thursday (This is also a free day) This program may change to accommodate everyone’s needs. We will discuss this all together.

07:00 - Mindful Yoga and Sand Walking Meditation
(This will take place on the resort’s sandy beach of Mikros Vasilias.).

8:00 – Mediterranean Breakfast

9:00 – Feel free to explore the island further or if you want to take excursions to the other islands of Sporades Skopelos and Alonisos. We can assist you with this. There are 80 beaches on the island so there is plenty to see and explore.

18:00 - Group Discussion – Reflections and Evaluation

19:00 – Group pick up, transfer to Skiathos town to enjoy our last dinner together at a local tavern.

21:00 – Group pick-up for our return to the resort. - Optional





​Day 8 Friday

6:30 – Mindful Yoga and Mindfulness Meditation “The Power of Gratitude” (This will take place on the resorts beach of Mikros Vasilias.

7:30 – Mediterranean Breakfast

9:00 – Enjoy your last swim at the beach or the pool

11:00 – Check out and transfer to the port or airport.

Xanthi Zafiri will accompany you and instruct you throughout the entire program. Xanthi is a very heart warming person that manages to combine her counseling background as a Psychotherapist, with her Heart Centered Therapies at Sapphire Wellness in which she is also the founder. She is a Holistic Psychotherapist, Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Meditation/Yoga Instructor. She holds a private practice in Illinois, USA. Above all she is a caring mother, a loving wife and an individual who values all her clients, providing them the emotional support they need to reach optimal wellness.

THE RESORT

Golden King Luxury Resort – Skiathos Island, Greece

In an exquisite environment full of green, we have created a little paradise for you. Our resort is located on the beach of “Mikros Vasilias”, only 2.5 km far from the town of Skiathos and 20 meters away from the sea. Each residence is created in a way to offer maximum comfort and everything you have dreamt for your ideal detox, anxiety and stress-free retreat.
