7 Day Yoga and Ayurveda Retreat in Kerala

Day One: Orientation and Relaxation
Morning: Pick up from the airport and arrive at our Ayurvedic Resort destination along the serene back waters of Kerala.
Afternoon: Enjoy time to relax and acclimatise to your new surroundings. Spending a chilled afternoon to unpack, to go to be beach, enjoy a boat ride or swim and get to know your fellow retreat participants.
Evening: Dinner, Orientation and an gentle restorative Yoga and Meditation to unwind and ready you for a good night sleep.
Day Two: Cultural Exploration - Visit a local Indian Village
Morning and Early Afternoon: Start the day with a energising morning Yoga Practice and healthy Indian-styled breakfast before we head off on a guided tour to an Indian. Learn about the local crafts and skills of the Villagers such as; local fish farming, toddy tapping, coir making, beedi making, pottery, coconut leaves craft and enjoy a traditional Kerala lunch by the backwaters and a ride on a tuk tuk (auto) to the pick up point.
Late Afternoon and Evening: We return back to our resort for relaxation by the pool or a sunset boat ride before dinner and Evening Yoga and Meditation.
Day Three: Ayurveda Discovery
Morning: We start with Yoga and learning about Pranayama and techniques of Meditation. After Breakfast, we will have a Ayurveda Workshop with a Ayurveda Doctor local to Kerala, which is also the birthplace of Ayurveda.
Afternoon: Each participant will have their own personalised consultation and Ayurveda Massage, with the rest of the afternoon to relax, swim, go to be beach or explore the local surroundings.
Day Four: Off to Munnar, the hills of Kerala
Morning: After Morning Yoga, Pranayama and Meditation we will pack and head off on our next destination, an 2-3 hour drive up to the hills of Kerala, known as Munnar. A hidden secret, surrounded by tea plantations, forests and Ayurveda farms.
Afternoon: Explore the local surroundings, go on a nature walk and relax.
Evening: After dinner we will end our evening in Meditation and Yoga Nidra.
Day 5: Explore the untouched nature of Munnar
Morning: After a invigorating Yoga Practice and Silent Meditation we will have breakfast and then head off to the Tea plantations for a Tea Tasting Session.
Afternoon: You are free to explore, enjoy the optional activities provided by the
resort, take a trip to the Munnar town to explore or relax. Enjoy another Ayurveda Massage or browse through the in-house library. There will also be an optional cooking class if you would like to try your hand at Indian cuisine.
Evening: Dinner and Evening Meditation
Day 6: Silent Meditation and Inner Reflection
Morning Yoga: After morning Yoga we will enjoy another morning of Silent Meditation and Reflection. We will have time to reflect and create our own intention for our personal wellness journey for the rest of the year.
Afternoon: We will all get together for a special finale outing to celebration our special experience together.
Day 7: Finale
Morning: After morning Yoga, Mediation and Breakfast, we will pack up and all head back to Kochi to catch our flight home.
About This Event
Spend 6 days in beautiful Kerala exploring Yoga, Ayurveda and Indian Culture. All the activities and experiences on this trip are unique to Kerala, giving the participants a truly real experience of Kerala, it's food, people, customs and health practices of Yoga and Ayurveda.
Each day will be on a themed on a different aspect of wellness and health from a Indian perspective. From daily Yoga and Meditation classes to Ayurveda workshops and massages to guided tours of an Indian village, local sights and ayurveda-based vegetarian meals. You will get a glimpse of the lifestyle and benefits of the Indian health system and how to incorporate these healing arts into your own wellness journey.
This trip is guided by Asha Daniels, a Canadian/Indian Yoga Teacher that grew up in India and lived there for 27 years. Asha brings her passion and love for this country plus her experiencial knowledge of India to share a broad and authentic experience with lovers of Yoga and goes into a deeper exploration of Indian's vast and ancient health-practices of Yoga and Ayurveda.
To make this experience even more special. Asha is limiting the group for a more personalised experience. All cost from the time you land till the Retreat finishes is taken care of for easier and stress free experience.

Venue HighlightsTo enjoy a well-rounded experience of Kerala. Participants will experience 3 days staying in a Ayurveda resort along the tranquil backwaters of Kerala with their own traditional Kerala-style rooms with Ayurveda treatments and meals personalized to each participant.
The next 3 days will be spent in the Hills of Kerala, known as Munnar which is a beautiful spot in the hills surrounded by tea plantations, forest and Ayurveda farms. This serene Resort is also equipped with Yoga and Ayurveda treatments and perfect for a Yoga getaway.
