Thai Massage Retreat to Chiang Mai

  • Doi Saket District, Chiang Mai, Thailand
  • Nov 4 - 14, 2019 (11 days)

About This Event

Join us in this 11 day/10 night residential retreat in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and immerse yourself in a culture that made healing an art form

Thai Massage is a precious gift of Thailand that is encircling the world, and Chiang Mai is the home of the northern style of Thai Massage. Centuries of masters have lived, practiced and shared their knowledge in this ancient city. Connect with this lineage and you will feel their wisdom and experience supporting you in your work.

Thai works toward balance at all levels--physical, mental, emotional and spiritual, and the practitioner receives the same benefits as the recipient. Over these eleven days, you will give and receive massage and learn to enhance your connection with yourself and others, developing into a more powerful and effective healing channel.

Thai Massage would not be the same without the body-mind-spirit connection, and excursions will include visits to sacred sites, including Doi Suthep, one of the most revered temples in Thailand.

Our retreat will also coincide with the festival of Loy Kratong. This is one of the biggest celebrations in Thailand. This traditional festival honors the goddess of rivers and waterways. Elaborate offerings with flowers, incense and candles are floated down the rivers and paper lanterns are flown above the city, a magical site.

November is one of the best times of year, weather-wise, to visit Chiang Mai. The rainy season typically runs through October, so November is the beginning of the cool season. Expect 80s in the days and 60s in the nights on average.

The package prices include shared accommodations (private accommodations can be arranged for slightly more), daily meals and course fees, but do not include airfare.

Make your deposit now to reserve your spot for our 2019 retreat or pay in full by 31 May 2019 and save $250.

Participants will earn 40 Florida, Louisiana and NCBTMB live continuing education hours.

More Thai retreat details and planned itinerary will be sent to all registered participants in advance. If you have any questions, please contact Dennis Stovall at: (contact info blocked) or (contact info blocked).
