Peru - Journey to the Land of the Shamans

  • Sacred Valley, Peru
  • Apr 27 - May 7, 2019 (11 days)

About This Event

Claim your spot on this 11-day journey through the Sacred Valley and culture of Peru lead by skillful and experienced guides Jaguar Path Founder and Shaman, Ray Crist and Quero elder Don Sebastian Flores.  This is an experience that invites transformation and a deep connection to mother earth - Pacha mama.  You can look forward to traveling through the Sacred Valley against the backdrop of the majestic Andean Mountains.  Encounter sacred Incan sites and explore the cultural offerings of Machu Picchu, Cusco, Ollantaytambo, Pisac, Morai, and Aguas Calientes.  This retreat offers a balance of movement, exploration and time to digest the awe-inspiring ceremonies and experiences.
Ray Crist will lead a daily Jaguar Yoga practice to support you to ground and prepare to receive the opportunity for the healing and growth you will encounter throughout the trip. Yoga at Machu Picchu, colorful markets, exquisite cuisine, and time in community are on the agenda!

The descent into the magical Amazon Jungle on the last four days of our journey, allows you to connect deeply with mother earth. On our daily jungle hikes and trips down the “Madre de Dios” river, local guides will share their knowledge about the medicinal qualities of plants and trees. Evenings provide the opportunity to share in a circle, meditate, or go out to the river to look at the stars. This is a unique experience to go star-gazing in a deep dark part of the jungle.

"This has been a life changing experience!" "More than I could have ever expected!" "I am deeply grateful to Ray and to the Sacred Valley for the gifts of spirituality and unforgettable experience" "I highly recommend this trip to anyone seeking spiritual evolution"
