Starting out in the 90’s as a club dancer Ahisha has always had an affinity with sound and vibration. Believing herself to be tone deaf and unable to play instruments she moved into music journalism. Struck with a spiritual awakening in 2012 her whole life turned upside down. Her first teacher came offering knowledge of crystal bowls & vibrational sound healing along with Reiki Energy Healing and a Hathor connection.
Moving into plant medicine and ceremony facilitation it was time to address her voice and life long shyness.

Being blessed with many teachers from an Opera singer, Shamans, a Classical Hindustani musician, Kirtan, Bhakti yogis, an Episcopal priest, and a Franciscan monk. She has travelled the world both inner and outer in pursuit of knowledge and to become an embodiment of this knowing.
Deeply passionate about devotional singing, sound and chanting as a path to liberation, Ahisha is committed to sharing this knowledge and joy in her roles as a Medicine Woman, Teacher and Kirtan leader and Friend

This is an unique opportunity to immerse into our beautiful nature retreat centre dedicated to living the path of the heart whilst studying with the master plant teacher Sacred Cacao.Every retreat is distinct and individually created for you. Speak with Ahisha to discus your needs. We cover all aspects of holding ceremony and what it means to hold space and create ceremony for self and others. How to source and make ceremonial cacao. Focusing on cultivating your own personal connection with cacao and how to move forward from a heart space.We work extensively with sound from creating sound journeys, ceremonial songs, prayers, healing tones and vibrations, rattles drums, and sound healing instruments. Ahisha is a voice activation specialist teaching you to open your voice to use as the powerful instrument that it is.There will be plenty of opportunity for just being, taking time in nature amongst the fruit trees, the river and garden to process and integrate all you are learning and transforming, you will be served living fresh fruits and vegetables from our own garden or local organic market. You will get to experience a cacao ceremony and there is potential to assist once you have completed your training.

Directions
Sometimes the Costa Rican roads are a little out of
touch with what your map might say, follow our directions to find us
From San Isidro (known locally as Pereze Zeledon) take road 242 up to Rivas.
Keep following it through the small town of Rivas and at the end of the main town take a right turn to continue on the 242.
Follow the road up the mountain going past the villages of Guadalupe, Chimirol and finally Canaán.
Once in Canaán you will see a chocolate shop Samaritan Xocalata and by all means stop and buy some delicious organic chocolate. After the chocolate shop take the next right turning over a small bridge and onto a dirt road, there is also a sign labeled to Los Angeles here.
Follow this road round and over the bridge and you will arrive at a fork in the road, stick to the left and keep driving up.
You're going the right way if you pass another bridge over the river, a small blue fortress on the right and the Los Angeles soccer field on the right.
About 50 meters after the soccer field there will be a stone wall on the right. Keep driving up past the end of the stone wall and past a black and white gate with hearts and on the right again about another 20 meters you will see a black gate with dried palm leaves weaved in, this is the entrance to Finca Mia. You made it! Welcome!

We are located in an abundant rainforest with waterfalls, rivers, fruit trees, mountains. Finca Mia is Heaven on Earth fully designed to blend into her environment a true paradise with a beautiful clear river, many hiking trails and local attractions. We have our own salt water swimming pool and hot tub!, yoga deck and ceremony maloka. Delicious fresh meals are prepared 3 x a day all diets are catered for.
