Our yoga guesthouse is surrounded by mountains just a short stroll from a beautiful turquoise beach. Spend your week at the Mahakala Center with daily yoga, meditation, plant-based diet, and adventures in the wilderness. As well as a powerful full moon meditation ceremony to rejuvenate your mind and body. The full moon period is a very powerful spiritual time perfect for cleansing.

07:30 – 09:00 Yoga (Asana), breathing (Pranayama) and meditation

10:00 Free time to explore the area (hiking trails or excursions)

19:30 Meditation/ mantras/ talks or other activities

Examples of our excursion day might include a journey to a lush waterfall or exploring an historic old town. The other excursions that we offer can be booked on arrival.


The full moon period is one of the most powerful periods in the month for cleansing and rejuvenating the body and mind. On the full moon night we will be doing a intense guided meditation sesh. Focusing on the feminine energy in both sexes and cleansing you from your past.

Yoga & Meditation
Yoga is the holistic approach to connect your body and mind. Yoga helps you find your purpose in life and teaches you how to focus on the present moment. It enables you to control your emotions, which reduces stress and boosts your overall health. Our workshops focus on hatha, vinyasa, iyengar, wall yoga and sivanada yoga (depending on the teacher) we also emphasis on pranayama (breathing exercises), mindful meditation and mantras. Our teachers are of the highest standard. Genuine care and safety for our students is the number one priority.

Exploring nature
Montenegro is rich with lush green hills and valleys, the turquoise coastal beaches, and the shallow
rocky-mountains that decorate the landscape. You will be able to immerse in this beauty with different walking trails or just going for a swim to find hidden caves and waterfalls.

Detox & Health
Relaxation and Health is an integral part of our program at Mahakala. We offer packages that lead to various paths to a healthier you. We provide detox programs including Fasting, Heavy Metal Detoxes, and IV Vitamin Shots. You have the opportunity to try out individual treatments without the high prices usually associated with normal clinics.

Creative workshops & other activities
From art classes to dancing ceremonies we try to incorporate a range of other creative workshops that fuel your spirit. Which depending on the teacher that is there that week. So the activities mentioned are not all available in the week. Flower ceremony, art class, beach bonfires, dancing, nutritional and detox talks, craft courses, philosophy classes, massage, cooking classes, documentary nights, sustainable living and self- love talks.

Venue Highlights

In this retreat, you will be taking on a journey to discover a hidden gem of Europe. Montenegro, or black mountain in Spanish, is a playground of geographical wonders with vast rock formations, an unparalleled coast that gives some of the most beautiful views of the Adriatic. But Montenegro’s greatest assets are the quiet and calm areas where you can hear the birds sing and feel the wind blow through the trees. If you sit quietly for a moment, you will feel connected to the earth. Mahakala Center is located in the midst of this, in a little beachside town called Bulgarica. Apart from the tremendous walks in the mountains and swims in the ocean, there many other sightseeing’s and activities that you will be able to explore such as caves, old ruins, churches, water rafting, lakes, cannoning, old towns, staggering lakes, and many more.


Mahakala Center is located on top of a mountain with the best view of the Mediterranean sea. It is surrounded by lots of walking trails and is only a stroll away from the sea. There is a range of accommodation you can choose from that suits your taste the best. We have a choice of a penthouse apartment to yourself, a private room with a private bathroom, a shared room or dorm room. All rooms are provided with air conditioning, towels, free wifi and hair dryers. Our accommodation combines the best of both worlds: clean pristine luxury in the midst of nature. It is built in accordance with the principles of fengshui. These characteristics make the place ideal for leaving everyday life at home and finding inner peace and tranquility.

We provide vegan brunch and dinner every day. For a healthy relaxation holiday nutrition is one of the key factors that will help your body rejuvenate. In our retreat we make vegan food made after Dr Lemms recipes who is specialized in nutritional Therapy. Both brunch and dinner will be made for you out of fresh ingredients. Giving you a chance to experience how nutrition can boost your energy and on the long term detoxify your body. Giving you benefits such as better digestion, skin, immune system and a happier you.


Please book your flight to arrive at Podgorica Airport (TGD). From the airport, it takes one hour by car to the retreat. Transfer from and to this airport can be arranged on request at an additional cost.
