28 Day Womens Master Plants & Ayahuasca Dieta

About This Event

28 day Women's Ayahuasca and Master Plant Dieta

August 15 - September 13 (full moon to full moon)

This will be our 4th annual dedicated women's dieta. Each year we uncover deeper and deeper layers of just how vital these specific women's retreats are. Women naturally resonate with circles and cycles, we have ancient histories of coming together in this way for women's work. Even in the silence of dieta we create a container for each other. Young, old, mother, teacher, healer, sister, daughters we all bring our unique energy to this retreat to hold a safe space for the deep healing that must occur for women to continue growing strong in this world as sovereign voices, creative and vital contributors to the communities we inhabit and the lives we live.

Our dieta runs a full moon cycle from full moon to full moon and will be in line with the traditional initiatory guidelines of master plant dieta. Lots of solitude and deep reflection, dedication to a 30 day post diet and ceremonies together. We also include a few workshops and additional ceremonies in a way that does not distract from the dieta process.

This retreat will include.

Venue Highlights

The garden of Peace is located in a small remote valley in mountainous jungle. We have individual guest huts and a number of larger buildings. During your stay you will be able to rest in hammocks, stretch in the temple and swim in the beautiful river which runs through the land. Sometimes we offer alternative therapies like Temezcal (sweatlodge) Yoga, Sound Healing and Breathwork.

We have individual huts for our guests, these are basic but designed to be safe and comfortable while supporting the plant medicine work. We have electricity in the main house and composting toilets. The bathrooms are shared and our river is wonderful for swimming and bathing.

We provide meals in line with the requirements of the different plant medicine programs we offer. We can also cater for digestive needs as we work with many patients who suffer from leaky gut, coeliacs disease etc. We serve wholefoods, very simple, largely vegetarian and made on site with love.

We are based 2 hours from Tarapoto Peru so the best way to reach us is to fly from Lima to Tarapoto and we will meet you there.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

My inspiration is to find some very much needed solace away from the stress of raising 4 children, working (as a dietitian) and trying to get my private nutrition counseling practice launched. I am a registered yoga instructor and have practiced for over 10 yrs, and have always dreamed of taking a yoga retreat just for my own inner well being. Linda

Retreat Guru's Vision

We believe human beings are innately wise, strong and kind. This wisdom, although not always experienced, is always present. Going on retreat is a beautiful way to reconnect to our basic sanity and health. Our aspiration at Retreat Guru is to inspire people to experience authentic retreats and reconnect with their innate wisdom, strength and kindness.
