Yoga + Walking in the Lake District, Cumbria, 10-12 May 2019

  • London, UK
  • May 10 - 12, 2019 (3 days)

About This Event

Enjoy a long weekend of yoga and walking in the magnificent Lake District National Park, the land that Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter loved. Daily morning and evening yoga (slow flow, restorative, yoga nidra and meditation) taught by Leela Miller, whose 30+ years of teaching experience combines insight, humour and skill. Daily 5-10km walks are led by a local expert guide who takes you safely off the beaten track, regardless of whether you are an easy or avid walker. The perfect combination to explore your internal and external terrain in some of the most beautiful nature the UK has to offer. Both yoga and walking are suitable for all levels.

I really enjoyed the weekend. I found it quite calming - partly because of the amazing surroundings. I’d forgotten how stunning the Lake District is. The walking was nicer that the group split to cater for different paces and wants. The yoga was very inclusive and ok not to be well versed or even very bendy. I think your inclusive approach helps people to give it a go and make someone like me more interested. - JA
