ABOUT JASON & FI
Jason is the brains that founded The House of Yoga and FloVibe Wellness and Music Festival. As with many Yogis, Jason’s journey began as a way to heal his body from physical ailments, but yoga means so much more than just the poses to him. Jason is one of a handful of Baptiste certified teachers in Europe, a style of yoga that not only speaks to the student’s body, but also their heads and hearts.
Jason loves to lead and facilitate trainings where he gets to share his passion and love of yoga, meditation and personal development.
You can expect strong and vigorous classes with some modern-day philosophy to invigorate and inspire you. Get ready for an experience of sweat and serenity!
Fi is a Level 3 qualified, fully insured Personal Trainer specialising in fat-loss and body composition. She believes there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach when it comes to exercise and so devises personalised training programmes for her clients that take progressive steps towards achieving their specific health and fitness goals.
THE FINER DETAILS
Travel day and transfers
Travel days are the beginning and end dates of the programme (arrival Sunday 19th May, departure Sunday 26th May). Your holistic bootcamp programme will begin on the morning following your arrival.
We can arrange for our minibus driver to transfer you from Dalaman airport to Huzur Vadisi. The transfer cost of approximately £40pp return is an average guide price. The price can vary depending on numbers of transfer trips and passengers so you may wish to check with The House of Yoga about flights to keep your transfer costs down.
It is worth considering flights that include 1 stop as the prices are often far less. We advise you to arrive at Huzur vadisi no later than Sunday afternoon/early evening, as the programme will begin early the following morning.
Please make sure we have your flight number and arrival time so that transfers can be arranged well in advance and everyone informed. It’s important for us to have your flight number in case of delayed flights.
NB If you are flying with Turkish Airlines or Pegasus from Istanbul please let us know if you are an international transfer passenger, or if you have been staying over in Istanbul. It makes a difference to which terminal you exit from in Dalaman, domestic or international.
It is a condition of booking for participants take out travel insurance to cover cancellation and other eventualities.
New passport and visa regulations
Anyone travelling to Turkey is now required to purchase an online visa before entering the country – this can be purchased from the following website: (contact info blocked) (As opposed to buying a visa stamp at the airport) The fee is $20 USD. The visa needs to be printed and taken with you to show at passport control. Your passport needs to be valid for a further six months from the date you arrive in Turkey.
Venue HighlightsIn a secluded mountain valley, surrounded by pine forest, the yurt accommodation nestles amid olive and fig groves. It is an oasis of peace in natural surroundings, simple and rustic with shared bathroom facilities, yet comfortable and beautifully maintained with all conveniences in the yurts.
At night the valley is dark, revealing all the beauty of the night sky. At full moon it is truly magical to see the forest and valley bathed in moonlight. Huzur Vadisi’s setting brings a deep connection with the natural world that immeasurably enhances the benefits of yoga practice.
The combination of great yoga, stunning unspoiled location, welcoming experienced staff and legendary food creates an experience for which teachers and guests have been returning year after year.
The spacious yoga shala has room for up to twenty-eight to practice and is fully equipped with mats, belts, blocks, bolsters and blankets.
The natural stone swimming pool is the perfect place to relax, as is the ‘kosk’ a traditional Turkish ‘treehouse’ which is the natural spot for a siesta. There is also a bar where you can help yourself to a drink (honesty system) or take a book from the library.
AccommodationsHuzur Vadisi can accommodate up to a maximum of thirty in twin, triple and single bed yurts, with plenty of showers and loos in the spotless shared bathroom facilities. See the stars from your bed at night through the ‘eye of heaven’ at the apex of the yurts.
There are plugs for your hairdryer in the yurts! Turkey has 2-pin plugs, so you will need to bring an adaptor.

Menu/CuisineFood makes an important contribution to the enjoyment of your yoga holiday and the meals at our venues all share the same influences of delicious and healthy cuisine…. fresh, locally sourced and seasonal produce, olive oil, fresh vegetables, salads, pulses, pasta, rice, cheeses, yogurt and egg dishes are served buffet style with plenty of choice, with fruit, muesli, preserves, cheese, eggs, olives and home made bread for breakfast.

Vegetarian by default, fish, chicken or meat dishes can be provided once or twice in the week if requested. Some special diets can be accommodated, but please check with us first.
We are happy to provide wine, beer or spirits if you wish to make it part of your yoga holiday, using an honesty bar system. Occasionally teachers prefer your retreat to be alcohol free and will let you know if this is the case.

(contact info blocked) will show you the best available fares. You may wish to consider a flight with 1 stop to keep costs down. The flight from Gatwick to Dalaman is 4.5 hours and the transfer to Huzur Vadisi is 45 minutes.
Please note you will need to arrive by the evening of Sunday 19th May at the latest, as we start our first session at 7am the following morning.
