About This Event

Antje has been living on the island of Gozo for the last 15 years and developed her very own concept that combines the pleasures of the sea with  yoga and breathing. Freediving is one way to enjoy the water, holding your breath, diving down, feeling your body and discovering that you are one with nature and the earth. It is about taking one step at a time, focusing on what is on right now. Breathing, holding your breath, becoming aware of all sensations, emotions and thoughts that are triggered. And then taking the next step if you wish. It is literally about the journey, not the destination. Just bring yourself and your curiosity for yourself.

Dive into yourself with:

Daily intensive Yoga
Start every day with a Yoga and Pranayama practice, get into a new refreshed routine to take back into your daily life at home

Freediving sessions
Start with your first freediving "steps" and enjoy your very first breath-hold experience on land and under water with no pressure of achieving any results as depth and time, but rather to explore yourself.

It's not about how deep you, but HOW you go deep

Cozy Accommodation
A traditional old Gozitan farmhouse, beautifully restored, on the outskirts of the village of Ghasri.
All rooms with en suite bath/shower room

Time to switch on inside
In order to switch on inside we need to switch on outside - get away from our daily routine, dare to switch off our mobile phone, and properly (contact info blocked) We will make sure to leave enough time gaps that you can fill with whatever you like or leave just empty.

Something to take home
The most important aim of the Freediving Yoga Retreats is to give you something to take home: A new habit of breathing more deeply into your belly, or taking more time gaps in your every-day-life to switch off outside in order to switch on inside, or some other techniques and ideas that may enrich your life back (contact info blocked)

It's not about how deep you dive, but HOW you dive deep. Leave out any goal settings of change. Allow yourself to simply BE where and who you are.

Rest of the day available to explore the island and for a proper rest.
Optionally you can book a massage treatment.

All timings are approximate and subject to change. Each yoga class will be 1.5 hours. Some times we might choose for a shorter session in the morning and include another relaxing one in early evening. This might be yin yoga, yoga Nidra or a meditation.

Locally sourced fresh vegetables, prepared in a very creative and delicious way.
Fresh tomatoes, Capers, Local cheese, Vegetarian sushi, gazpacho, baked aubergines,
lasagne, curries, refreshing cold soups, crispy salads, various dips, mouth watering desserts and fruit

Directions

The transfer from the airport over to Gozo and the accommodation as well as back is included in the package deal.
You will be picked up by a driver directly in the arrival area at t he airport and taken to the ferry.
In Gozo will another driver be waiting for you to take you to the accommodation.
You will receive a ferry ticket for your return upon check-out.
The ferry ride upon arrival is free of charge.
The transfer can be organized 24/7. The ferries run as well at night.
