About This Event

A week long Greece yoga holiday on the eastern Pelion peninsula at a retreat overlooking the prettiest of seas, the Pagasitic Gulf. This really is a retreat where the emphasis is on treat. Staying in a beautiful waterfront house, join a group of maximum ten people for yoga sessions on a wooden platform in an olive grove where the sea laps at your toes. It is one of the most stress free places imaginable, with the warm air bringing out the aroma of wild thyme and lavender as you breathe in deeply.
On this holiday we have two yoga sessions a day, and in between times just chill out and enjoy our infinity pool, vegetarian meals or swimming and snorkelling at the nearby beach, with steps right down to the sea from our garden. Everything is on the doorstep, with the village just ten minutes’ walk away.

Day 1:

Arrival in the afternoon at 16.00. Introductory evening yoga session. Dinner served on the terrace

Day 2:

As part of the programme, on the second evening a group session of relaxation and self healing techniques will be given by our holistic therapist.

Day 2-6;

On a beautiful west facing yoga platform just above the water's edge with far reaching uninterrupted sea views there will be 1.5 hours of morning yoga and 1.5 hours of evening yoga before dinner. The evening session wil be a sunset (Chandra) practice which will be of a more restorative nature, to allow the body to unwind from the day. The lunar practice will again open with a meditation, followed by a slower asana practice, holding the poses for longer periods, to all the body to relax into stillness. There will be a day in the middle of the week for self guided yoga and/or own sightseeing trip. Dinner will be in the village on this day.

Day 2-6

Food: Breakfast, lunch and an evening vegetarian meal will be served daily on the terrace. The meals are all nutritious and delicious. Wine is served at dinner.

Day 7

Early breakfast will be served before departure by 10.00 am

Dolphin’s Leap is an incredibly beautiful and peaceful place to relax and reconnect with yourself. First, photographs can’t truly capture how stunning the location is. There are so many places to relax and enjoy the views, whether from the pool, the sea platform, or the terrace. Second, the yoga sessions were perfect. The instriuctor was warm and encouraging to everyone, and always had new poses to try so that each class was unique (not easy with 11 classes over the course of the week). The classes were challenging but I felt mentally and physically refreshed and inspired after each one. Third, the food and accommodations were excellent. Every meal was delicious and healthy with fresh and local ingredients. The rooms were comfortable and airy, with large windows providing natural light and sea views. Pippa and Nick are wonderful hosts with so much interesting information about the house and the area. It was an amazing week.

Guest accommodation for the retreat is in 6 luxuriously appointed beautiful twin bedrooms all with sea views and air conditioning. Four bedrooms are ensuite and two bedrooms have a shared bathroom. There are plenty of outdoor terrace areas if you want to find a quiet place to read and drink in the wonderful sea views. Meals are served on the al fresco dining area overlooking the sea.


The retreat price includes a delicious breakfast served with home baked fresh bread, fresh fruit and a selection of cereals, yoghurt and honey, a light salad lunch and a two-course evening meal served with local wine. The food is prepared using only the freshest seasonal and local ingredients, including oregano, mint, thyme, rosemary and olives from our own garden. All meals are served on the terrace overlooking the sea.

The evening meal will include a selection of dishes to cater for every taste. Local wine will be served to guests at dinner if required (at no extra cost). Otherwise a range of soft drinks and fruit juices will be served at all meals and will be available at all times throughout the day.

The precise menu will be developed in discussion with guests to take account of any special requirements or preferences. It will also vary according to the fresh local produce available at local markets.
