About This Event

A whole week of health and happiness, with lots of support, inspiration and creativity. 

This is not just a yoga retreat, it is an invitation for you to explore what makes you truly happy. It is a beautiful opportunity to nurture yourself on the magnificent island of Gozo. 

The focus of this retreat is to do whatever makes you truly happy and feeds your soul. 

There will be plenty of time for you to relax if you wish, or fill the day with adventures and explorations. 

Some of our regular activities will include gentle Hatha Yoga, local walks, creative workshops, daily meditations, and guided visualizations, to refresh the body and mind and other special activities such as a group sound healing and excursion to Comino Island.  

Additional therapies such as massage, reflexology, biofeedback testing, healing, reiki and more are all available with local therapists.

We can also arrange extra activities such as scuba diving, kayaking, and Segways if you feel called.

Venue Highlights

The retreat house is located in Ghasri, the smallest village in Gozo, Malta

Our house called Dar Il Hena, the house of happiness, joy, and tranquility. It is a large detached traditional Gozitan home, with an outdoor pool, small terraces and Zen garden.

It has a homely feel and the group enjoy the space sharing here as well as the location which is easy to get to all parts of Gozo, villages, beaches and the main town is in walking distance.


The rooms are traditional Gozitan style, comfortable with plenty of space with views across the fields to the
Citadelle and Gozo.

A varied selection of Vegan and Gluten Free meals a day, breakfast and dinner
Some cooked and some raw, the majority of food will be healthy to support the week
and we can adapt any to suit all requirements
Food will be catered for by Natalie of Cheezy Nut, who is a local Vegan chef from Malta


Fly into Malta International Airport (MLA). From there, airport transfers are available for 40 euros each way. The Ferry takes 20 minutes to Gozo you would then be collected the other side and it is a futher 20 minutes to the house. As Gozo has no Airport, trains or motorways.

Ferry charges are just under 5 euros on your return trip, you do not have to pay on the way.

Alternatively, take the bus to the ferry port and the ferry to Gozo. Then, another bus to Victoria (Gozo town center) and the 308 bus to Ghasri.
