  • May 29 - Jun 2, 2019 (5 days)

About This Event

This is a five-day 5Rhythms Heartbeat Retreat in a beautiful healing arts centre with refined accommodation, pool and outdoor theatre, surrounded by spectacular nature, to walk amongst the trees, and be held by the wisdom, healing and nurturing that nature offers.

The whole body is an expression of the hearts ‘ dance, when we move with surrendered grace and listen to whispers of the Souls’ voice sweeping us away deep into the mystery of who we are. The beat seduces our feet caressing the ground, earth’s tongue, plugging us into intuitive and inspired choreography. Barefoot Love Letters writing their poems, etched onto the empty space all around. Five days of surrendered exploration, allowing more time to go deeper within. A journey of dancing bodies, soul’s and heart’s coming together, in unity we can go further into our hearts dreams. We draw from the strength of the circle that will become a backbone of support.

• The hours of this workshop qualify for the five-day Heartbeat requirement for the teacher training.

Venue Highlights

Borgo Paola is a countryside estate in the historic, romantic town of Pisciarelli. Located behind Acqua Paola’s antique springs, a lush 2000 hectare forest, where the trees hold silent memories of centuries of human aspirations and pursuits. With its love of deep inquiry and contemplation, there's no better place turn inwards and uncover our own divine, true self.
The centre features a beautiful swimming pool, a bioenergetic vegetable garden, as well as the Yogananda round shala - a 200 square meter room made entirely of wood, with full-length windows and a 360 degree view of the forest.

Located 40 km from Rome, where the story of western civilization began, this is an area so historical it feels outside of time,
Bracciano is the nearby ancient and beautiful city with characteristic old streets, quant shops, bars and restaurants. It is also home to the 15th-century Castello Orsini-Odescalchi, one of the largest and best-maintained castles in Italy. This ancient city is situated on Lake Bracciano, one of the major lakes of Italy which owes its origin to intense volcanic activity from 600,000 to 40,000 years. You'll also find prehistoric caves, a ghost city and sulphur baths and hot springs close by.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

To reconnect with my inner self, found ground through the movement of my body and breath. Awake. Jane
