About This Event

Come experience a real yoga experience in Nepal. Join the 200 hours of yoga teacher training of Rishikul Yogshala and come to bloom in the heart of the Himalayas. Explore the sciences of yoga and spirituality, surrounded by the wonders of Nepalese nature.


CERTIFICATION

After completing the teacher training, students will receive a certificate that will allow them to register with Yoga Alliance (RYT®) USA and International.

Rishikul Yogshala is registered with Yoga Alliance in the United States. The program is based on a combination of the traditional form of hatha yoga and ashtanga yoga. The goal is to provide solid basic knowledge of yoga, to explain how to perform postures properly, to learn meditation procedures, breathing techniques and yoga philosophy. This will provide participants with a solid foundation to teach with confidence or to deepen their own practice.

MUDRA

YOGA NIDRA

Yoga Nidra is a unique meditation technique that involves going through different stages while gradually falling into a sleep awake, peaceful and rejuvenating. Also known as yogic sleep, it is an extremely powerful spiritual awakening technique used to explore the inner layers of the human soul while providing intense relaxation and inner calm. During the yoga sessions nidra, you will explore and go through the different stages of a deep rejuvenation of the mind, body and soul.

SHATKRIYA

Study the science of body preparation using yogic cleansing methods before beginning the practice of yoga and meditation. An essential part of the early morning tradition, the Shatkriyas or Shatkarmas play a dominant role in the mental, physical and spiritual purification and balancing of doshas. You will need to study the following six yoga works:

Accommodations

Perched on a picturesque hill, Infinity Resort Pokhara is an ideal place to stay in the splendor of the Annapurna Chain. The rooms are spotless and hygiene is a priority. Placed in wooden interiors, guests are offered a single bed or twin beds, private bathrooms with a 24/7 hot water shower and free Wi-Fi. Each room also has a private sitting area - a coffee table and chair as well as a desk. The heat of the rising sun will warm you up on waking. Menu/Cuisine

The Pokhara Valley is full of lush farmland and, as a result, the delicious meals are made from fresh produce and represent the iconic cooking style for the Nepalese people. The meals are of yogic nature and are prepared by chefs specialized in ayurveda. The food is 100% vegetarian, following the balance of body and mind. A pure vegan diet can also be served on request.

By plane
Book your flight to Tribhuvan Airport in Kathmandu. On landing, a bus or taxi can be used to the retreat center in Pokhara.

By bus
If you come from India, you can reach one of the entry points in Nepal, including Kakkarbhitta (West Bengal), Biratnagar (Bihar), Birgunj (Bihar), Sunauli, Nepalgunj, Dhanagadi and Mahendranagar (all located in the other side of the Uttar Pradesh border). From here you can catch a direct bus to Pokhara.
