Sponsor a Bedroom Campaign

About This Event

Have you been following the Five Oaks renovation news? The Upper Room, all hallways and stairwells have been transformed. The carpets have been replaced and the paint freshened up. The Upper Room is now energy efficient, bright and fresh.

Our last full refresh was in the late 1990s, at which time all common areas and bedrooms in the Main Building were transformed. Your community of faith was part of that upgrade. Over the years, our guests have so appreciated your contribution to our ministry of hospitality. With the attention of staff and care of our guests, they have lasted well.

After 20 years, it is now time for upgrades and replacements to the Main Building bedrooms and bathrooms. Bedroom B9 has been updated as our model suite, and after much feedback the final design is ready.

We are inviting your community and others to consider sponsoring or co-sponsoring a bedroom once again. The total expenditure per room is approximately $4,200, which includes partial support of bathroom upgrades.

Five Oaks invites you to contribute once again to this vision. Your legacy and our ministry will be continued through your gift. We are including a breakdown of the bedroom costs and images of the model suite. For the washrooms, new toilets, sinks, lighting, paint, accessories and flooring will be purchased to both improve the look, but also reduce the maintenance and utility costs. As part of our commitment to the environment, we will also be looking for donations of antique or teak dressers and desks to reuse in the spaces.
