About This Event

A Shamanic Kundalini Retreat of Divine Union On this Autumn Equinox weekend we are gathering to stand strong and united, so that we can STEP UP! We are being called in these turbulent times to follow our hearts and fully embody our unique gifts and talents. It is time to give thanks for all of our experiences and celebrate our abundant selves. During this 4 day Shamanic Journey we will work with female as well as masculine archetypes to discover parts of ourselves that have long been forgotten or suppressed. We will bring back those soul parts that have been fragmented so that we can become whole again. It is time to celebrate our beautiful differences and the magical mirrors that we are for each other. We will celebrate the feminine and the masculine, the moon and the sun, the shadow and the light, the yin and the yang .....

Everything is an aspect of God/Goddess. Even fear, hate and anger are included in these divine energies, it’s just that they are distorted, but are still from the same source.

Rather than making anything or anyone wrong, let’s see God/Goddess in All, as a wonderful gift that helps us grow and takes us on adventures, that we could have never imagined.

Join Kwali and Maren supported by Shamanic Healer Lakis Chrysanthou to embody a wholeness, that can only be achieved through sacred union of All, unconditional love and gentle tender care for each other and our Divine Mother Earth and Father Sky.

‘Kwali Kumara is a yoga teacher who lives by the principles in which she shares and teaches. Kwali has an abundance of positive and caring energy, she makes time to listen and speak with her students. There is something about Kwali that just brings magic to her yoga classes and workshops. Kwali’s classes are dynamic, challenging but with an essence of gentleness, all rolled into one. The purpose of the class, kriya and postures are clearly explained and I personally feel energized, joyful and invigorated afterwards’. - Katy Poynter "Since I have met Maren my life has been cacao flavoured" - Giovanni

Venue Highlights

Inner Guidance Retreat Centre at Hill Farm in Lavenham, Suffolk is a 16th Century Grade 2 Listed building, that sits on a hill within 3 acres and has commanding views across the area.
The beautiful 500 year old venue is just outside the stunning village of Lavenham, which is probably the most picturesque medieval village you will come across.

The owners Jo and Dominic host luxury transformational retreats, delivering a five star service with prices including all sessions, food, drinks and luxury accommodation.

Healthy nourishing food will be provided during your stay from clean-chef Dominic and his team, who will show you how exciting and tasty healthy food can be.
Who knew that gluten, dairy, alcohol and sugar-free foods could taste so good!

All of the double rooms are lovingly decorated and most of them have en-suite bathrooms.

The largest and grandest room is situated in the Tudor part of the house above the dining room. It can be set up as either twin or double occupancy, with views over the yew trees and fruit garden.

Lots of beams, huge fireplace, and uneven flooring to remind you that you’re experiencing 500 years of history: Who has stayed in this room before you? What stories could the walls tell? Can you feel the presence of Gandhi?……

There is much space to relax in the lounging area with light pouring in through both sets of windows. Read a book, have a snooze or enjoy the local art for sale on the walls as you recline on the sofa. The Gandhi Suite

There is an en suite with beams and bricked wall from the adjoining fireplace, making this a sublime place to take a soak in the bath if you don’t fancy a shower. And the gorgeous Arbonne toiletries will tantalise your skin cells into ultimate smoothness.

From London take the M11 coming off at the A120 at Bishops Stortford/Stansted. Follow to Braintree and then take the A131 through Halstead to Sudbury, then follow the B1115 into Lavenham.

From the North of England take the A14, coming off at Bury St Edmunds East/Sudbury. Follow the A134 for around 5 miles, turning left at the A1141 and following the signs to ‘Historic Lavenham’.

On arrival into Lavenham you will see The Swan Restaurant and Hotel on the corner of Water Street. Turn into Water Street and continue down until the road bears sharply to the right. This road then becomes Brent Eleigh Road and you will drive along it for around 1 mile. You will pass a layby on the left and our drive is immediately on the right –you will see our sign and prayer flags hanging on the gates. Drive all the way up to the top of the hill, and the retreat centre is on the left.

You can park opposite the house -ON YOUR RIGHT AT THE TOP OF THE HILL, in the courtyard next to the collapsing barn.
(Please do not park inside the gates of the house as staff need constant access, thank you)

The nearest train station is Sudbury. From London you will take a train from Liverpool Street and change at Marks Tey. On your way to us, you will not need to walk over the bridge, but simply walk across to the other platform where the connecting Sudbury train is usually waiting.

At Sudbury we use the Sudbury Cab Company. Their phone number is (contact info blocked) and we have an agreed price of £13 (each way) with them.

For groups travelling together, it may be easier for you to get the train from Liverpool Street to Colchester station. The train is quicker and direct, but the taxi fare is around £35 each way which is no problem if there is a few of you but not such a good option if travelling alone! We don’t currently have a recommended taxi company at Colchester station.

Stansted Airport is very closely located less than 40 miles from the retreat centre. The Sudbury Cab Company have very competitive rates and can be booked to collect groups from the arrival hall.
