About This Event

This 4-day program for women is a magical opening to experience a greater sense of belonging and participation with the wild world around us. Learn ancestral earth skills, connect with a community of like-hearted women, feed the wild woman within and re-kindle your relationship with the land.  Designed to re-ignite your innate strength through the mind, body, and spirit while allowing an intimate relationship with your environment, This gathering is for all you wild women who would like to empower yourselves while connecting to yourself and nature.

The wild love is for women who want to come home to a wild and empowered state of being - carly (retreat host)

Venue Highlights

The Wild Love is run from the gorgeous Guinevere Guest Farm, which is located a 90-minute drive from the tourist hot spot of Cape Town. The farmhouse is situated on 95ha of private land nestled amongst indigenous fynbos and lends itself to the ideal space in which one can immerse in nature and the tranquility of the abundant fynbos and bird life.
There is a large swimming lake for those hot summer months, a pool on the upper level and a river in springtime.
A short walk away is a gorgeous waterfall and rock pools to cool off in or watch the sunrise over the valley.
The farm is also a rescue sanctuary with cows, pigs, chickens, and donkeys- all rescued and given a second chance to live out their days with us.
80% of the farm is pure and untouched fynbos, which is the most diverse and richest plant biome in the world.
There is a sweat lodge and yoga studio on the property
Enjoy star gazing from our wood-fired hot tub
The accommodation is all under one roof, keeping the retreats cozy and intimate

The accommodation is surrounded, almost cradled, by majestic mountains in the Tulbagh valley on a nature-full farm. Whether you stay in a private room with en-suite bathroom and a balcony or whether you share a room with one or two others, there are many places to relax and reflect in this large retreat farmhouse that you have all to yourself for the duration of the week.

All rooms are beautiful, large, and comfortable with en-suite bathrooms, seating areas, and balconies overlooking the Tulbagh Basin. The private rooms are equipped with seating areas and en-suite bathrooms with private balconies. Meanwhile, shared rooms are facilitated with double beds and en-suite bathrooms.

There is a fan in each room. We do not have aircon as we are striving for a greener and more sustainable presence on this earth.

there is free wifi available on the ground level of the house.

Nourishment is an important part of the wild love experience and integrates not only in vibrant diet but through sincere human connection.
We serve organic meals where possible created with love and packed with superfoods, providing the nutrients needed to energize and revitalize from the inside out.
Expect smoothies, buddha bowls, salads, raw juices, and wholesome ayurvedic meals, all cooked with love.

The nearest airport is Cape Town International. The easiest way to get to the venue is by car. Renting a car from the airport is simple and quite cheap too.
We can organize a shuttle to and from the airport. The cost is approximately R1200 each way- so sharing the shuttle with a few people is the most cost-effective.
To get to the venue from the airport will take around 90 minutes.
