About This Event

Givin School is a system of practical Knowledge leading to awakening and further transformation. This is an environment for evolutionary development as well as the realization of the meaning of life and our place in this world.

We have a Russian-speaking teacher who has already passed this path of full realization of human potential and knows how to help people to get through it as quickly and painlessly as possible. This is a unique opportunity to practice under his guidance. We have a team of like-minded people practicing together who support each other and share the acquired knowledge with other people.

Everything that we practice is aimed to develop awareness and unity between people, harmonious and strong state of the body and confident movement along the path of internal growth.

Before we reveal the topic of the retreat we need to get a better understanding of why people want to participate in it. What brings them to this decision? Surely, they wouldn’t be spending two weeks of their time completely detached from the usual way of life, from work and family just out of curiosity. Some will even arrive from another continent which can be quite expensive! The retreat itself is not like a resort where you go to relax, this event is a lifetime opportunity to get to know  yourself and your true nature through the practice. It can be challenging with the tight schedule of group and individual classes with two half an hour breaks for food.

All conditions and aspects of the retreat are aimed at calming the mind and creating an environment for our true nature to be discovered.

Our main task is not to just awaken or to get enlightened (although this is a very serious achievement), but to completely get out of the "matrix" or the wheel of Samsara in one lifetime! In the East this "exit" is called Full Realization or Liberation from Rebirth.

The movement toward this realization is called the "Path".

The inner work is often rewarded with various blissful states and experiences. Such as awakening, samadhi, vivid awareness, the deep present moment and a completely different perception of reality. They act as reminders of how important the inner work is and what awaits us if we decide to take this journey.

Discipline requirements are very high. But we also have amazing results. We have more than five dozen awakened people at this moment.

The current major demographic at the School is russian speaking. So all of the content of the School will be interpreted into English for you.

To help you make the most of the retreat, as preparation you will be required to go through several interviews and a course of classes which teaches a variety of physical, breathing and meditation exercises. This will help you to gain the basics of the practice so that the retreat time is used wisely and most efficiently. You will be required to listen to a series of audio lectures about basic theory and participate in various school activities, including communication with other people. All of this will give you a completely new experience and a new taste of life.

As experience shows, during the preparatory stage the majority of applicants already significantly improve the quality of their lives: their problems are getting solved, they notice health improvement and they often experience a state of happiness... and for some people this is enough, they don’t need anything more. So this is a great way for people to test themselves, to see if they really want to go further. If the Path that we offer meets their intentions.

As the first step please send us a message ("Ask host a question" button), so we could arrange an interview and discuss any further questions that you have.

The price includes: accommodation, catering, training part of the retreat and the pre-retreat training.
Not included into the cost: tickets to Riga, visa, insurance, excursions.

There is a non-refundable fee of $350 that covers the pre-retreat online class, interviewing and other forms of preparations for the retreat.

There are over 50 students that have awakened in the last two years and are continuing their path with the School towards full transformation/realization by mastering the practical knowledge through unity, gratitude and the act of the heart living as a soul!

Venue Highlights

For the retreat we are renting a beautiful recreation complex “Minhauzena Unda". Surrounded by pine trees and rhododendrons, Minhauzena Unda is located in the well-known seaside resort of Saulkrasti, Latvia, about 55 kilometers from Riga, only 300 meters from the Baltic sea!

We are striving to create an eco-community with a retreat center in the near future.

The resort offers triple rooms with a bathroom. There is no air conditioning installed as Latvian climate doesn't require it. Toiletries and towels are provided.

Men and women are accommodated separetely. This condition is also relevant for couples who came together.

"A full belly is deaf to the teachings!"

Food is an important part of the retreat. All participants are required to follow vegan diet and about a third of them generally prefer raw food. To minimize brain stimulation through the taste senses we avoid heavy food so that the body is less distracted by digestion and detoxes itself. With light and moderate food the mind also remains quiet and clear.

The participants of the retreat have admitted that their body is getting energy not only from food but also from the spiritual practices as a rusult they want to eat much less than usual. They feel that .While in everyday life we quite often eat out of habit.

None of the students want to lose the effectiveness of the retreat by overeating. Some people in agreement with the instructors can even fast for a few days. By that the practice can be taken to a deeper level of awareness and be accompanied by unconditional love and joy experiences.

We are organizing a transfer from Riga. Also, it is possible to reach the hotel by public transport or by car - it's a 1h drive from Riga center.
