About This Event
Yoga and nature are harmonious guides that lead us to restoration, connection, humility, and vibrant wellbeing. This immersive experience is designed to teach you embodied practices to open your heart and be guided by love as a service to all beings and to the planet. We ’ll explore ways of using our bodies, breath, mind, and senses to harness the energy that we both extend and receive. We’ll connect deeply with each other, ourselves, the earth and the sea.
Each day will begin with a guided meditation practice, on the Brahma Viharas, or four faces of love. This will serve as our theme throughout the week, with practices designed to help us choose gratitude, compassion, loving-kindness, and equanimity.
“I learned a lot, while also having fun. Colleen truly cared about our whole experience from beginning to end.” ~Victoria Carvelli, Previous Retreat Participant “This retreat provided a welcome opportunity for greater connection to fellow participants, nature, and myself.” ~Beth Nelson, Previous Retreat Participant “This retreat was an incredible experience! The meditation, yoga and hiking/running activities were catered to each women’s needs and abilities and the fellowship with other women created a positive and welcoming experience. I look forward to the next retreat and would highly recommend it to others!” ~Susan Zerona, Previous Retreat Participant “This yoga and wellbeing retreat was everything I hoped it would be and more. Relaxing, restorative, energizing. We stayed active without feeling pushed or pressured. Loved the hiking and option for length. Most importantly, I met a lovely group of women interested in spending time active and outdoors whom I expect will be friends in the future.” ~Nancy Spillane, Previous Retreat Participant “Colleen is a great instructor, she is thoughtful/purposeful in her instruction. Keeping an even rhythm with varying degrees of difficulty.” ~Annnemarie Cash, Student “Colleen took extra effort to focus on individual needs in private sessions. Lots of great hands-on help with proper form in poses. Great Retreat” ~Kandy Dunn, Student
