About This Event

Mindful Living Retreat is about offering you a safe and tranquil space, to re-connect with yourself, to remember how to live a simpler and more harmonious existence in-tune with the universe, the planet and our bodies. This will be achieved through Yoga and meditation as well as various other activities.

Time in the retreat will give you an opportunity to listen deeply to your body, heart, and mind. You will experience a happy living by mindfulness; and by that way, mindfulness leads you in a better true vision of life. Mindful Living Retreat is about offering you a safe and tranquil space, to re-connect with yourself, to remember how to live a simpler and more harmonious existence in-tune with the universe, the planet and our bodies. This will be achieved through Yoga and meditation as well as various other activities.

1.30 PM: Lunch and Orientation

9:00 PM: Personal time, sleep well


The first day
5:00 AM: Wake up
6:00 – 7.30 AM: Hatha yoga
7:30 – 08:00 AM: Pranayama and Sitting meditation (30 minutes)
08:00 – 09:00 AM: Breakfast
9:00 AM: Walking Meditation
9:30 AM: Sharing “ The art of mindfulness ”
11:00 AM: Rest
11:30 AM:
Lunch time (eating meditation)
12:30 PM: Deep relaxation
02:00 PM: Dhamma sharing (sharing circle)
04:00 -05:30 PM: Hatha yoga
05:30- 06:30 PM: personal time
06:30 PM: Dinner
07:30- 08:00 PM: Sitting meditation
08:00 – 08:30 PM: Chanting
9:00 PM: Personal time (sleep well)

The 2nd day
5:00 AM: Wake up
6:00 – 7.30 AM: Hatha yoga
7:30 – 08:00 AM: Pranayama and Sitting meditation (30 minutes)
08:00 AM: Breakfast
8:30 AM: Packing for lunch
9:00 AM: Hiking to forest
10:00 – 11:30 AM: (Outside activities: mindful games, pranayama in the forest)

Lunch time (picnic lunch)

02:00 PM: Turning back to homestay
04:00 -05:30 PM: Hatha yoga
05:30- 06:30 PM: personal time
06:30 PM: Dinner
07:30- 08:00 PM: Sitting meditation
08:00 – 08:30 PM: Touching the earth
9:00 PM: Personal time (sleep well)

The 3rd day
5:00 AM: Wake up
6:00 – 7.30 AM: Hatha yoga
7:30 – 08:00 AM: Pranayama and Sitting meditation (30 minutes)

9:00 AM: Walking Meditation
9:30 AM: Protect the Mother Earth (karma yoga, environment actions)
11:00 AM: Rest
11:30 PM: Lunch time
12:00 PM: Packing baggage
01:00 PM: Farewell – Return to Hoi An

Island smiles offers 3 rooms: 2 double rooms with shared bathroom and 1 twin room with private bathroom. Neighbouring homestays have double rooms with shared bathrooms.

Menu/Cuisine

Guests will be offered breakfast, lucnh and dinner. All meals will be vegan, vegetarian and of the Vietnamese cuisine. Water, tea and coffee are also included.

Directions

Take the slow boat from Cua Dai Pier at 8:15 a.m. If you can’t wait to get there, there’s always the speedboat. Contact us for booking assistance.

You will be met at the jetty and then transfer to a small boat for the picturesque journey (25 minutes) to Bai Huong village.
