About This Event

This excursion is less of a hike and more of a saunter that stays primarily on our park roads with one goal – searching for butterflies. This is the 13th Annual Butterfly Count in the Mountain Park, guided by Mark Yaeger of the Arkansas Valley Audubon Society. No experience is necessary. Bring close-focus binoculars and/or a digital camera if you have them (although they are not necessary) and be ready to see some of the park’s prettiest fluttering residents.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

Retreats inspire me to continue to practice and fuel my journey. I always find specified intention and feel it projects me closer to my purpose. Shannon
