About This Event

Are you ready to explore the spectacular views of pokhara lake side and sunrise over Sarangkot, sacred sites and be close to to nature in the breathtaking air of Nepal. You can experience the energy and purity there by joining our 7nights retreat,sound healing meditation and gentle trek.

You will stay 7 nights in a beautiful guest house with breathtaking views, comfortable beds, hot water and beautiful tranquil surrounding. We wil take you on a journey of self exploration with a daily schedule paked with morning meditation, Mantra, pranayam, Hatha yoga, Restorative yoga meditation, silent early morning walks around the lake and some Thai massage workshops and a 60 minute massage treatment of your choice to help you heal body, mind and spirit, bringing peace, harmony, balance and vital energy back to your hectic lifestyle.

Bird of paradise retreat you will be guided through daily Hatha  Asana Practice.The word “Hatha” comes from “Ha” which means sun and “Tha” which means moon. We will guide you through a traditional Hatha Practice focusing on Posture, alignment and mental focus, developing strength internally as well as externally. Yoga unites mind, body and spirit by connecting with the breath, we can go deeper within to experience a connection with universal energy increasing prana (vital energy) and giving you the tools to live a happier, healthier lifestyle.

Yoga works on all systems of our being, it will strengthen your immune system, calm your nervous system, strengthen your digestive system, balance your endocrine system as well as improving sleep patterns, eating habbits, confidence, balance, memory, focus, flexibility, strength, injury, emotional disorders and improves range of motion and general well being. Each class will be diverse, having elements of strong flow, soothing yin practice to work on tight fascia muscle release, spiritual guidance and philosophy related to asana practice. we explore movements of the body with some elements of play and breath work.
when you practice the art and science of yoga daily, you awaken the prana within, this leads to purification of nadis(energy pathways) when purification takes place, it removes emotional and physical blockages allowing you to move to a higher state of consciousness and awareness towards intuitive knowledge to self knowledge.

Venue Highlights

This retreat will take place in Pokhara, Nepal. Hotel Iceland. Pokhara is located in the foothills of mountains, far away from the noisy crowd and on the banks of Phewa Lake. The scenery here is a god gifted view of Fewa Lake, forest, and birds with heart touching sounds.

Directions

Arrival by airplane
Please book your flight to arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. You may stay overnight in Kathmandu which depends on your arrival at Kathmandu Airport. Please book your flight coming to Pokhara in advance via Yeti, Buddha, or Simrik airlines. After arriving in Pokhara Airport, you may take a taxi (costs 6.16 GBP ) and ask the taxi driver to call BIRD OF PARADISE TRAINING so that he can be guided to Hotel Iceland.

Arrival by taxi
Once you have reached Kathmandu, please book a taxi and ask the driver to drop you at Hotel Iceland in Pokhara. Please ask the taxi driver to call BIRD OF PARADISE TRAINING so that he can be guided to Hotel Iceland with ease. The distance from Kathmandu to Pokhara is 200 kilometers and the taxi fare is from 76.95 GBP. It will be the wonderful drive of 6 – 7 hours witnessing the beauty of mountains, rivers, hills and many more.

Arrival by bus
Please catch a bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara which you can get on a daily basis from 6:30 a.m., which costs around 7.69 GBP. You can book your bus ticket from any travel agency after arriving at Kathmandu in Thamel area, it is a tourist bus with comfortable seats. After arriving in Pokhara, you may take a taxi (costs 6.16 GBP) and ask the taxi driver to call BIRD OF PARADISE TRAINING so that he can be guided to Hotel Iceland.
