- A crash course in Judaism you take at your own pace. Hold on because these 6 days are going to go fast. This is a crash course in Judaism like no other. Provocative discussions, text-based Jewish learning, Q&A with experts - Plus whitewater rafting, horseback riding, swimming, tanning and an unforgettable Shabbat with new friends. Whatever you do, leave your preconceptions about Judaism home, keep an open mind and don’t miss the challah baking, the farbrengens (we’ll explain) or the talent show. There are going to be lots of surprises.

Venue HighlightsSun & Study is on 87 gorgeous acres not far from the Delaware Water Gap, rollicking whitewater rafting and amazing horseback riding - at a stunning place called Purnell in Pottersville, NJ. On breaks you can hang out in the art center and do ceramics or painting. Practice your dance moves in the dance studio. Shoot some hoops in the athletics complex. Rehearse your spoken word poetry at the performing arts theater. Or visit the working farm next door. And - we're just an hour from New York City and 20 minutes from Newark International Airport.
Menu/CuisineThe food is super-healthy, delicious and kosher, prepared fresh daily just for us. If you have special dietary needs, please make sure to let us know when you sign up and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
