One of the most popular, fun and exciting yoga packages we offer, this program is also suitable for those wanting an active retreat vacation!
Taking your practice from mat to surf board will enliven your entire system and change the way you experience your body through yoga. This program is designed for yogis with an established practice, continuing your education; focus will be on opening and releasing, training for core and stabilization as well as sequence development for those who are new to SUP Yoga, providing an incredible well rounded experience.
You will stay in shared or private room accommodations at Nosarananda in Nosara, Costa Rica. Accommodations are spacious with high ceilings, large bedrooms and private bath with shower. Elegant and large homes on adjacent properties, minimum of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, shared kitchen, lounge, deck, large yard with mature flora, and only a 5 min walk to our private beach!
Nosarananda’s menu is specially designed to be as healthy as possible – three gourmet catered meals made from organic ingredients; a daily selection of fresh fruits, veggies, salads, fish, rice/pasta/quinoa and beans/lentils. We are easily able to accommodate dietary requests such as vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free. Selection of herbal teas, natural drinks and filtered water always available.
The sport of Stand Up Paddling Boarding ~ SUP ~ has really taken off… a lot of people these days are enjoying and there are many who would like to experience the feeling of “walking on water” ~ practicing yoga on a paddle board takes you to the next level!
SUP is all the rage! And for good reason, it is an amazing cross-training sport, as it is low impact on all joints, it also improves balance and core strength.
Helping people to recover from serious injuries, it is very possible this sport may transform your life overnight, instilling new-found levels of confidence and achievement.
This program is held over a one week period – Segment I : 6 days ~ Modules : SUP Yoga
