About This Event
Be Woman Project invites you to their annual Sacred Feminine Retreat at Shambala Gatherings honoring the precious gift of being a woman. Sharada and Janaki from Be Woman Project invite you to enjoy the infinite gifts of being a woman and having a sisterhood. They honor the sacred feminine through Devi classes, sharing circles, womb yoga, Yoga Nidra, ceremonies, and self-care rituals. A time to resolve in timelessness, pampering each other and sharing with each other your stories of joy, of love, of loss, of life. While bathing in the profound teachings of Mother Veda that makes you see, that you are whole and complete as you are. The source of love is not outside of myself, it is myself. Sharada and Jenny have dedicated their lives to assimilate the teachings and spiritual practices of the Vedic tradition that gives the devoted seeker, freedom. Happiness and security that has no reason. They have a special love for Puja; Vedic rituals, mantras, meditation, as well as womb yoga and dance. Their commitment to emotional and cognitive growth has helped them to bond deeply as sisters, jewels of insights that they will be sharing during the retreat. During the five days, you will get a taste of the vast offerings of these two inspiring and empowering women.

When the weather allows it, you will have classes outside in mother nature, to be held and nurtured by her.
Sharada Devi, Founder of Be Woman Project, will teach you about your essential nature, you will learn that you are lovable and worthy just as you are. Through stories from the Vedic mythology, you will find lots of inspiration and support in life.
You will learn that the body is a temple; you neutralize complexes and judgments around it. You will find a source of help and support through the teachings of Vedanta and the sharing with other women.
Devi circles are magical, at times scary because here, you will share with each other your stories and also reveal yourselves. You will learn how to invoke courage and strength to express out loud what has been untold. For many carry shame, guilt, hurt, judgments, and fears.
One of the best ways to overcome them is to share and give voice to them and see that you are not alone. There is a background for it and there was helplessness. You can ask for help, you are worthy of it. You are ready to offer back what does not serve any longer.
Based on different themes, you will see how you have been conditioned and maybe holding onto wrong ideas and notions. In loving compassionate non-judgmental ways you let them go and unlearn.

Venue HighlightsShambala is an intimate yoga community and retreat center in the middle of the Swedish forest. In coming to Shambala you will not only have access to the teachings of top international yoga teachers and teachers from other disciplines within spirituality, but you will also encounter the Shambala community who, with open arms, receives and serves the guests with a heartwarming and homely family atmosphere.
The project started in 2005 out of a vision to live in communion with nature and dedicated to a life of art, community and yoga. What once was an artist community of yogis simply living in nature, slowly, throughout the years, it opened its doors more and more to those that wished to experience this way of living in the form of retreats.
The dense forests of Bergslagen around Skinnskatteberg, are a fantastic place to encounter the very best of Sweden’s wildlife. Other than enjoying its abundant flora and lush beds of moss, the magnificent ”king of the Swedish forest”, moose - otherwise known as elk - can be seen here in its natural habitat, and the many lakes and watercourses are home to the beaver.
The area has also proven to be one of the best regions in Sweden to see other wildlife such as wolves, bears, lynx, and owls. Being located just two hours away from Stockholm, the area is easily accessible and makes a great option for a short break wildlife destination.
AccommodationsAccommodation will be in beautiful shared rooms. The rooms will be shared by two participants.
