About This Event
Do you need some time to step back and reflect on your life? Maybe you desire to reconnect with nature and re-discover your inner confidence. Or perhaps there is a creative project inside of you that needs nurturing.
Whatever your needs, this is the perfect place in which to immerse yourself in quietude. I am a yoga teacher and yoga therapist from the UK. I have been living in Portugal for over five years, and I know what it's like to live in the wilderness we call the modern age. Sometimes we need to recharge in nature, to reconnect with ourselves and with the elements.
Choose your own adventure! Stay a while in the self-contained apartment. It's far enough away from the space my husband (Reg) and I share for you to feel as though you really have some space of your own, but close enough for comfort.
Prepare your own meals on the gas rings or go half-board. Reg and I both love cooking delicious, plant-based, nutritious meals and it is our pleasure to prepare dinners for you to eat alone or with us.
Take time out to explore forest tracks, discover quaint villages and dissolve into a slower pace of life. There are plenty of river beaches around for wild-swimming (a car would be useful but lifts can be arranged at extra cost).
Choose to practice yoga each morning or evening or opt for yoga therapy. I will help you determine some goals and design an action plan to help you achieve them using the yogic techniques.
I had a wonderful stay with Laura. It was the perfect place to reset, spacious and peaceful. Laura is an excellent yoga teacher, a really thoughtful host and great company. The food and smoothies were delicious, made with home grown/local produce. SW

AccommodationsWe have a self-contained apartment. It is a light and airy studio apartment with a simple kitchen at one end and a bathroom at the other end. The apartment opens out onto a private patio and is filled with natural light from morning until evening due to its south-facing position.
