This is a great chance to people who would like to work the spiritual path, for those who are looking for a deep change in their lifes, find theirselves with the medicine of our ancestors. This is also for all who are going through crisis, sorrows or adiction problems, sickness, etc. This retreat is also for those who are already walking the spiritual path and wish to go deep in the Andean-Amazonic wisdom.
We will work doing private and group healings according the needs of the group. We will have the honour of working with the master plants Ayawaska and Achura (San Pedro), and do a special shamanic diet, the same that the YACHAYS (jungle healers) do, there we will eat food from the jungle sugar and salt free and we will drink healing teas every morning, to detox our bodies and have a deep cleaning. We will participate in TOBACCO CIRCLES, to clean the vital energy of our AJAYU “soul” and we will participate in TEMAZKAL (sweat lodge) ceremonies to have a deep conection with the Pachamama’s (mother earth) energy.
Your letters stating your brief personal history , reasons for wanting to participate, short, medium and long range goals for your life, and specific mental, physical, emotional or spiritual conditions we should be aware of to serve you better, please message us ASAP. I've been coming to Sacha Runa on and off for some years and I have to say Sacha Runa its the safest and more authentic medicine center I could find in all of Bolivia. Years ago I had the chance to take the 'Shamanic Intensive Training' with Miguel and it was a really positive life changing experience for me.

Event Highlights

  • We have endeavored to preserve honorably the Sacred teachings we have received from some of the best and most courageous teachers of their generation in North American Shamanism, Andean Shamanism, Amazonian Shamanism, Tibetan Dzogchen and Sikh Devotional Meditation. All of these teachings we have received from masters who took the step to break the narrow confines of secrecy and a particular ethnic or religious group and chose to share with all who come with a pure heart and true longing to surrender, connect and serve with Love, Devotion, Surrender, Humility and Respect and Compassion. They have taught us to connect to Source and allow the blessings of the light to flow. At some point in our work we have had Direct Experience with the Condor and Eagle Prophecy and the Divine Presence, which since then has guided and accompanied our work in all the ceremonies from the various traditions. We respect and welcome all nationalities and backgrounds and provide a safe space to share, to surrender and become vulnerable, to free ourselves and to rise in Divine Love.

Venue Highlights

Located where the deep valleys that run down from the Andes meet the Amazon Basin, Wizard´s Mountain Jungle Lodge neighbors Madidi National Park (with the highest biodiversity on earth), and Native Tacana territory. It is named after Wizard Mountain, one of the Sacred Mountains of the Tacana people, which can be accessed on foot from the lodge. Marking the entrance to our lodge is an ancient petroglyph of two serpents where the river features a whirlpool that used to swallow-up canoes on high water. It is thus both feared and revered.

We have built our lodge with deep respect for the sacred land that surround us, using only local materials and fine designs with bamboo and palm wood while providing you with modern-day comforts to ensure a harmonious and enjoyable stay. Our trails are characterized by imposing views from the surrounding mountains, pristine forests and high concentration of animals and medicinal plants. With our Canopy Walk you can explore the amazing flora and fauna that inhabit the tree-tops and enjoy breathtaking views.

We have collaborated with our neighboring Tacana village to help them create a sustainable economic future for themselves by creating their own cultural tourism company whereby you can stay in their village and share in their daily life, such as fishing, cooking, weaving palms for roofing, working their fields, or tracking animals.

We have 3 private cabins with two floors. One with matrimonial bed and the other with two single beds in case a family comes. Each with balcony.
Then we have one large dormitory style Maloca with one floor for men and another for woman and capacity for 40 people.
For ecological reasons all bathroom facilities are located nearby in a Building with individual shower stalls and bathroom stalls.

15 minutes Up river by boat from the airport in the precious Rurrenabaque town in the Bolivian Jungle.
From La Paz one may take a bus or a plane. It is only a 50 minute plane ride and costs about 120USD each way.
The bus is very cheap but takes about 16 hours though very beautiful ride, it is grueling.

Thank you!

We're glad you've joined our retreat community. See you around :)
