Vata Pacifying Yoga: Balancing the Winds of Fall

About This Event

Join Vishva-ji in Ottawa to learn how to balance Vata and the increased demands of the fall season. This class will include a talk on managing Vata, a 75 minute movement class with lot of longer holds and balancing poses and twists for calming air, and then a guided foot marma-point massage followed by Yoga Nidra.

      Incredible Experience

    This retreat was the very best “vacation” I have ever had. Everything about is was perfect; beautiful and serene location, charming rooms, helpful staff and remarkable food all aligned for transformation! I have never felt so whole, welcome and accepted. Vishva’s presence is so powerful; he left me feeling inspired, empowered and motivated to be my optimal self, every moment. His intention landed, the simple instructions he gave have changed my life; still glowing two weeks later. I did not know it was possible to love yoga more, after this retreat I am more determined to practice, share and honour this ancient and sacred medicine. Grateful for the experience and for my Guru. So much love. Namaste.

      Sanctum Retreat Alberta

    Another amazing year!! As Yoga is a practice so are yoga retreats. I feel like I am getting better and better at understanding what I need to get out of this retreat and how to do that. Prior to the retreat I was suffering a malaise I couldn't shake, simple tasks were difficult and, at the pace I was going, true contentedness seemed achievable only through the course of many lives. Post the retreat my battery feels charged and most things in my daily life as a common "householder" feel quite effortless. I walked down a street on the Monday after the retreat that I always walk after work. I was simply amazed by the amount of things I was observing, smelling and feeling, my senses were uniquely alive and my head was, for once, quiet. I was seeing everything, observing the world, I felt like a part of it. I saw every bike on every balcony of the apartment buildings. I noticed beautiful painting jobs on houses that I have never noticed before and I gave and received as many smiles as I have in the past 11 months combined. I was resting in my true nature!! It was really nice. I eagerly look forward to next years retreat and will earnestly continue on with the progress I made this year. Namaste!
