After a major renovation that redefines luxury, Kilkea Castle is delighted to welcome you.

Today it stands proudly ready to extend a warm Irish welcome to guests from around the globe. It is family owned and managed. The Cashman's aim is to share their passion for the destination through providing authentic, enriching experiences and thoughtful, intuitive service.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

My last retreat at SMC was so inspiring and so relaxing. But i'd love to have more time there to spend at the Stupa, visit the Kami shrine, and generally interact with the beautiful enlightened society happening on that entire land. Brett
