Sustainable Yoga, Sustainable body: Reboot your whole self in Umbria – A Yoga Retreat in Italy, May 2015

About This Event

Join senior yoga teacher and movement therapist, Lauren Ohayon for a 7-day whole body healing yoga retreat in the unspoiled hills of Umbria. You will use yoga, pilates, restorative exercise and meditation to align all of your body systems for long lasting effects on your health and nervous system. Prepare to come into a place of pure radiance and rest on this yoga retreat. Take advantage of Lauren’s vast body, alignment and injury knowledge as you dive deep into cultivating a sustainable body. The retreat is at the boutique hotel Locanda Del Gallo – a beautifully restored 12th century farmhouse set amidst 28 acres of gardens, terraced lawn and woodlands near the hilltop medieval town of Orvieto in Umbria.

There will be two yoga and one pilates class most days in a glass barn overlooking the olive groves. During free time you can enjoy the large garden, swim in the ecological infinity swimming pool that overlooks endless olive groves, relax in the jacuzzi or melt away in the steam room. Take long walks to local villages and be pampered with delicious meals (local produce is used in the vegetarian and non-vegetarian menu.). All bedrooms have views overlooking the gardens and groves.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

My inspiration sparks from my innate charge to connect with a collective innate goodness. I aspire to live in a way that continuously blossoms and embraces my wise and compassionate human nature. Freundl

Retreat Guru's Vision

We believe human beings are innately wise, strong and kind. This wisdom, although not always experienced, is always present. Going on retreat is a beautiful way to reconnect to our basic sanity and health. Our aspiration at Retreat Guru is to inspire people to experience authentic retreats and reconnect with their innate wisdom, strength and kindness.
