About This Event

Enjoy a rejuvenating time of immersed self care and solo reflection time. During your retreat you will have a beautiful comfortable peaceful room to rest in. You will be provided with delicious, whole food (macrobiotic seasonally based) vegetarian/vegan meals per day, daily yoga and meditation practices to support your inner work and foster a sense of body, breath and spirit connection and wellness spa/body work treatments. In the evenings your will have the opportunity to sink into a deeply relaxing yin yoga practice followed by a crystal singing bowl sound journey.

You will arrive in the afternoon and settle into your beautiful, comfortable, peaceful room. After landing you will have the opportunity relax and settle in, followed by a delicious healthy, seasonal dinner. In the evening we will enjoy a gentle yin yoga practice followed by a crystal singing bowl sounding. During day 2 you will have the option of joining us for a do-in (meridian awakening practice) or yoga practice and meditation. Followed by a seasonal breakfast and herbal tea. either during the morning or the afternoon you will have to opportunity to feel the gentle, balancing effects of a zen shiatsu body treatment. During the day you will also have personal time to read, write, or walk in nature, and time for a delicious whole food macrobiotic lunch and dinner and evening yin yoga with sounding journey. On day 3 you will enjoy morning yoga and meditation, a delicious brunch and some free time or optional addition treatment(see below for additional treatment pricing) before you head back home in the afternoon or the following morning.

Venue Highlights

Nestled in the Gateway to the Muskoka's, just south of Taboo Resort. A 5 min walk to Muskoka Beach. Walking trails near by.
A yoga / ceremony room that walks out to the back yard, with firepits and hammocks. A large gourmet kitchen to create and share meals, comfortable, modern bedrooms.

1 room - 3 single beds
1 room - 2 single beds
1 room - treatment room or 2 single bed
1 room - double bed can add 1 single bed
1 room - queen bed can add 1 single bed
3 full bathrooms, 1 powder room, 1 infra red sauna
towels are provided
when full space is rented there is an additional room with King bed.

Directions

Getting there :

193 Maple Heights Dr. Gravenhurst.

Driving ~ Toronto to Gravenhurst 2hrs.

Bus ~ OntarioNorthland Bus goes from Yorkdale to Gravenhurst, leaving at 3pm or 2:30 from Toronto Coach terminal for $42 each way (we can pick you up at the Gravenhurst bus stop)

There is also a small airport with summer flights from Porter airlines in Toronto To Muskoka that is nearby and we can pick you up from

What is near the healing arts centre: Nestled in the Muskokas, towns of Gravenhurst and Bracebridge are within 7 and 18 min drive respectively. A 5 min walk from the house with bring you to the shores of Muskoka Lake, or to a forested river… bring snowshoes if you have them as its a nice adventure to go exploring.
