Give yourself the gift of “you time”, to relax and reconnect going into the holiday season. Join international yoga teacher, shamanic energy practitioner, and integrative life coach Marni Pogachefsky at the Menla retreat center in the Catskills for an intimate tech-free weekend yoga retreat, away from the city and into nature! This long weekend retreat is designed to provide the ultimate levels of restoration and self reflection. Get quiet enough to hear what it is that you truly need, and learn practical tools and techniques to take home with you; as well as techniques to shift the blocks that may prevent you from applying self care in your life, so that you can “retreat” wherever you are. Open up your heart and mind to experiencing new levels of connection with yourself and your needs.

For many of us, it’s all too easy to get caught going through the motions of performing our daily / weekly tasks, caught in front of our screens, working, responding to emails, scrolling through social media… time slips by and before we know it there’s “no time” left for self care and reflection on what really matters. We’re left feeling

burned out

unclear and indecisive

or perhaps chronically exhausted & no amount of sleep can cure it (if we can get to sleep at all)

It’s easy to forget why we do the things we do, and lose touch with our purpose and what really drives us

It’s no longer an option to keep “pushing through” with the stressors of your work life. Enjoy this 3 day reboot to reconnect with yourself and nature. Taking a break from your busy schedule, to unplug from technology and the patterns of a busy city and your day to day life is critical for preventing and treating burn out, and keeping the physical and emotional bodies healthy.


This digital detox and retreat guides you on a journey to more deeply connect with your personal sense of balance and purpose. Take this time for yourself, to unplug, relax, and reflect. Activities will include 2x daily yoga sessions (for all levels), mindfulness workshops, fire ceremony, nature walks, guided reflection, restorative sound baths, delicious locally sourced healthy meals, and access to stunning nature and exceptional spa treatments (see details below).

We will do this through…

2x Daily Yoga and Meditation - enjoy energizing morning yoga flows and relaxing evening practices for all levels. During these sessions you will be guided through relaxation meditations and taught breathing practices to support balancing and recharging. Marni incorporates inspiration from ashtanga, ivananda, and vinyasa yoga into her flow based classes. She addresses the physical and energetic body by incorporating poses, breath work, and mantra to balance the Charka system (yogic system energy system.)

Group Restorative Sound Baths- A sound bath is a gentle, yet powerful, experience for the mind and body. Sounds are created using a variety of instruments such as drums, singing bowls, gongs, and voice. The aim is to invite deep rest and relaxation, and explore self-inquiry

Intention Setting Fire Ceremony- Experience a traditional shamanic fire ceremony for intention setting and letting go of what no longer serves you!

Mindfulness / Self Care Workshop - learn practical skills & techniques to “retreat” wherever you go

Guided Nature Walk - connect with nature and experience a gratitude ceremony along the beautiful trails of Menla

Delicious organic locally sourced meals- your beautiful and tasty meals will be made from seasonal crops grown on property or from local farms

Gift bag- utilize tote filled with a journal and relaxation tools to use on the retreat and at home

7:30 - 10pm Introductions and opening exercise + restorative sound bath

Friday, November 22nd

7 - 7:45am Optional silent meditation

8 - 9am Breakfast

9:30 - 11:30am Morning session: yoga and meditation practices (all levels)

12 - 1pm: lunch

1 - 3:30pm: Free Time - for nature walks, spa treatments, coaching sessions, journaling, etc.

3:30- 5:30pm: Workshop - Self care … how to retreat at home

6-7pm: Dinner

7:30-9:00: Evening yoga & heart opening circle

Saturday, November 23rd

7-7:45am: Optional silent meditation

8-9am: Breakfast

9:30-11:30am: Morning session: yoga and meditation practices

12-1pm: lunch

1 - 3:30pm: Free Time - for nature walks, spa treatments, coaching sessions, journaling, etc.

3:30- 5:30pm: Nature hike and gratitude ceremony

6-7pm: Dinner

7:30-8:30: evening yoga & sound bath

9- 10pm: Fire Ceremony (Garden fire pit)

Sunday, November 24th

8- 9:00 am: breakfast

9:30-12am: Morning yoga and meditation practices and closing circle

12-1pm: Farewell lunch (optional)

1-2pm: Late Check out
